I have been to Society on several occasions, each time I am greeted/ served by friendly staff and enjoy delicious food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food in a great atmosphere!
I worked with Fab & Danielle back in October to plan my husbands surprise 30th birthday party. Not only did they give me choices on which areas of the restaurant I wanted to use, they worked with me to plan a served hors'deurves menu, allowed me to decorate for the theme (1930's Prohibition) as well as bring in a DJ. The food was delicious, and the girls serving us were prompt, friendly, and very good at following up with all of our guests for drinks, etc even as we all moved down to the dance floor. We all felt like true guests - which is exactly the feeling that I was going for. Everything from the planning to the completion of the night was exceptional. Highly recommend them for any private event!

Nice upscale pub with great food and atmosphere, we really needed something elevated from the low end choices in Chilliwack and Agassiz. We really really appreciated that there wasn't the typical cloud of smoke and entitled smokers to walk past/through at the entrance like most pubs, and the interior "feels" clean - unlike other grungy pubs where everything feels greasy and music so loud you cant talk.
Clientele seemed more affluent than the low end greasy pub scene and decor is a Celtic vibe, nice fireplace. We enjoyed our food - nachos and lasagna were both tasty and had great amounts of toppings including cheese which so often is skimped on.
Service was friendly, kitchen was little slow but nothing serious. Definitely going back, a nicer upscale spot!

I've eaten here several times with both family and friends and have not been disappointed. The building is gorgeous and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It works for family dinner, a night out with friends, or a romantic date night. The servers are very friendly, they've been really great and patient with my toddler! Food is tasty, portions are huge, and the happy hour prices especially can't be beat. I also love that they have live music so often, it definitely adds to the nice supporting local hometown vibe. Great to see this beautiful heritage building up and running as a local family business. Can't wait to see how they fit in with the revitalization of downtown!
I was here last Saturday and for the most part only have good things to say! It was quite a busy night, a full house, nonetheless our server continued to keep up with her guests as best she could and be as friendly as can be expected. Ordered the mushroom ravioli and was highly impressed, definitely interested in going back to try the happy hour specials!
The staff seems quite young and as thou they are learning but that had no affects on me, I still felt comfortable and looked after and overall really enjoyed the experience at the Twisted Thistle!
I would definitely recommend giving this place a go!
Walking from the parking lot into the restaurant was impressive, first thing I noticed was the two-way fireplace. The building is amazing and the inside décor suits it. Went for dinner with friends on New Years and ended up staying to ring in the New Year. The restaurant has a great vibe with live entertainment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS and the portions were huge. Looking forward to my next visit to check out happy hour. Highly recommend for date night or a fun night out with friends.
We've been there three times and have been very pleased every time. The food service and atmosphere are excellent. Yesterday, we shared an order of chicken nachos (which were delicious!) and washed it down with a glass of Lonetree Rose cider (equally delicious!)We will be back.
