Really great pub style food that wasn't extremely greasy! Our server was very nice and personable. He also accommodated to dietary restrictions with ease! Great vibes too!

My husband and I ate here last week for the first time and had a great meal. The restaurant was pretty much full but the service was fantastic (shout out to Matty B). My husband had the Texas Smoke burger which he really liked and I had the Nashville Spicy Chicken burger with grilled chicken and I think it was the best chicken burger I've ever had. Ever. Will definitely be going back. I also really like how everything you might need is already on the table, ketchup/mayo/salt/pepper/napkins, so you don't have to wait for someone to bring you what you need. Only reason we didn't give a 5 star rating was because it wasn't the most comfortable place to sit. Aside from that, definitely recommend checking it out.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE -- AMAZING MENU, large range of interesting options and unpretentious comfort-food fav's! Food=Delicious Portions=Generous Prices=Competitive Atmosphere=Cozy OUTSTANDING SERVICE! We didn't wait on menus, drinks, or food. He checked in regularly to see if we needed anything, cleared dishes promptly, checked if everything was to our liking, offered drink refills, gave great recommendations, asked if I wanted the appetizer brought out before my main (a no-brainer many restaurants get wrong!!). Great for chatting and the music was good! All 4 of us agreed we will be back! Thanks!!

The Fish n Chips were a success pick. The Fish was Monster Size. The batter was a beer batter and was very tasty and not too much batter either. The chips were good too, especially, if you wanted vinegar on them. I didn't ask. But Malt Vinegar would be perfect for thier fries. I was sharing with my mother, and we left full, plus I brought a left over piece home for my kitties. Many types of outdoor seating options. We sat indoors at my mother's request. :) And the booths were great too! Plus, the menu prices were very reasonable too!

Bland wings, they weren't even cleaned properly, I found chicken hair on them. Disgusting.

Great experience! Delicious food - Bacon Mac & Cheese and their Poutines are absolutely worth the trip. Service was fast, polite and accurate. Portions were large (filling but not wasteful). Friends had their Original and signature burgers - they looked like they were enjoying them :) Will definitely go again next time I'm in Gatineau Park.

A new restaurant will soon open in Chelsea, at the corner of the 105 and Old Chelsea Road: the Bistro Manchester . Chelsea’s food scene has been thriving lately. L’Orée du Bois and Les Fougères are great tables, and the arrival of Mama Theresa was a welcomed addition to the food scene, which includes familiar spots such as De Luigi , Chelsea Shawarma , the Chelsea Pub and the Chelsea Smokehouse’s Le Resto . Behind the Manchester’s food offering will be the team from Routine Poutine in Gatineau, who admitted as much on Facebook. The Bistro Manchester scheduled opening date is in mid-October.
