I am writing this review on my forth visit at the cafe. I have been coming here to study for hours for a change in environment and good coffee, but today I decided to have the Pan-Seared Salmon for dinner. It was a great healthy, balanced dish that had a great variety of vegetables, flavours and colour. The salmon was fresh seared to perfection. The vegetables were cooked gently and had great flavour. My plate was cleaned. Though it is on the pricier side, I think the dish is worth having.
Overall, I found the food to be excellent, a comfortable modern environment to be in, the customer service was kind and the wait times were not an issue for me. Despite me being on a budget, I can see myself coming here again in the future.
A lovely spot very centrally located. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Delicious food but a bit on the pricey side.
Went here for Vday. A friend kindly helped us make reservation. It was pretty packed. We waited for about an hour for the food. Regular day an hour would be too long but given that it’s a special day, I guess an hour is tolerable.
Food was awesome. Seafood is fresh - not too salty.
The Filipina lady who served us is very attentive and pleasant as well. Kudos!
Nice ambiance and attentive staff but the food might be a little bit pricey. Not much choice because the majority of dishes is pasta. We tried seafood pasta which is good while chef's special pasta is average.
The best place for breakfast or dinner. Order anything from the menu, you’ll not be disappointed. Just make sure you call in before going in to confirm reservation.
Friday night family dinner out. We started with the PEI Mussels... Good sized serving excellently presented and plated.
Our main dish was the Fish and Chips... OMG the portions of fish were huge...
Our server was excellent. The only downside is we didn't leave any room for dessert.
A little gem nestled in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. A sophisticated, rustic dining experience with dishes to match the ambiance. The eggs Benny were cooked to perfection with a tasteful hollandaise sauce. The sausage is to die for. Locally sourced and cooked in house, it tastes like a dream. Perfect patio breakfast to start a wonderful day. This is a must try when in PEI.
Finally after visiting PEI for many years i found a good breakfast place. It's unreal the amount of people I've asked for recommendations that think just because the menu price is a little lass expensive that it makes it a good place .. sorry i don't like deep fried hash browns, deep fried bacon and deep fried sausage for breakfast.. Casa Mia was fantastic, pan fried potatoes with a hint of maple syrup, tasty local sausage that is not 90% fat, thick sliced toast, baked beans were very tasty and their potato hash and potato cakes are super good, no more looking for a spot as I found it and will be be back every time i visit Charlottetown
