Imagine if you had a Japanese grandpa who was a chef... this is the kind of food you would get. Tasty, filling, healthy, very reasonable prices. Owner is very nice and friendly he has a great collection of wildlife photos too! It's a hidden gem and easy to miss but you should come check it out!

We were very surprised to find excellent & authentic Japanese food here. The owner is also an avid photographer of the great naturals around Campbell River.

Eat here! This place is exactly why I love searching out hole-in-the-wall places to eat. When you first walk in, it won't be at all what you expect, but Takao will chat with you and make you some absolutely delicious sushi. He made me a few rolls while we chatted, and they ended up being delicious! Owned and operated by a Japanese chef, so it's authentic and personal.
