The fish and chips are amazing! Huge filets of cod. Also has an amazing view.
We had dinner here recently and it was excellent. Nice views overlooking the water as well. We started out with the Calimari and then we both had tbe Seafood Linguini which was one of the best we have ever had. Lots of mussels, clams, prawns, halibut and salmon in a nice sauce and the portions were huge. Next time we visit Campbell River we will be back!
I'd heard that the restaurant was good, but I was blown away with the quality and the innovation of the food. I had a sirloin that was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were savoury and tender, and even the plating was attractive. I also had the warm pecan tart, which blew me away! Rich vanilla ice cream and chocolate, caramel, and strawberry drizzle added the perfect blend of salty and sweet. The staff was friendly and engaging, and the view is unbeatable. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
The views from the rooms and the restaurant are nothing short of stunning. The Blue Oyster restaurant is a cozy gem located in the hotel. I had the burger this time and it was probably hands down the best burger I have had anywhere. My table partner arrived later and also ordered the burger and without knowing I was writing a Trip Advisor review also commented on how good the burger was. You can get a burger anywhere but if you want the best burger - it may be right here! Between the amazing view, the friendly personable service from Tracy, and the casual chatter with other guests - this is an absolute must visit - and hey, have the burger at least once!
