The Breakfast House is a great place for a delicious breakfast.
The rye toast was gooey and buttery, the bacon thin and crispy and eggs prepared to perfection.
My only advise would to open earlier than 8 am as these parts have some hungry earlier risers :-)!
A clean, friendly,family oriented restaurant. It has an enticing menu, healthy, creative, well presented, TASTY!. Great environment for a nice conversation and pleasant meal
The Breakfast House has endured through a number of names and owners. as a comfortable. While it may change ownership from time to time, it has endured as a part of Callander's small town charm. The food is always good, the staff efficient. An outdoor patio and awning is a comfortable dining experience while the indoor dining area is spacious and warm in the cold days and cool in the warm. It is located within walking distance of all of Callander's downtown attractions. For sailors, snowmobilers and ice fishermen, it should be noted that it is very close to the Municipal Pier with its free day mooring and/or ramp access to the lake.
The food here is amazing! There were a few people having breakfast and drinking coffee, but certainly not enough for how good everything was! This must be a hidden gem! I would highly recommend stopping in for breakfast. The eggs Benedict, fried chicken, and waffles were excellent and the breakfast poutin looked equally good. It is cash only and I am pretty sure I saw people leave because of that. I can't speak for the pizza place it turns into after lunch, but for breakfast A+
I had the eggs benedict for breakfast and they were unreal! The home fries were both crunchy and soft. They also had a lot of amazing homemade frozen meals that you can buy to go.
Amazing breakfast! I got the eggs Benedict. The fries with the caramelized onions is soooo good! I recommend anyone to check out this place for breakfast.
Hidden away in plain sight. Perhaps the best breakfast establishment in the area. Competitive pricing, outdoor patio, extremely pleasant staff. Proper portions and small and intimate. I highly recommend it!
I've been here a few times for breakfast/lunch and the service is always good and the food fabulous.
They even went above and beyond for my 18 month old granddaughter's breakfast. Everything is fresh and homemade. I highly recommend.
