Omg the little bakery inside Rainbow Bakery on the first floor is a must try .. No public bathroom anymore . Several other businesses Inside . inside the front doors is a hot spot for locals wating for the bus in cold months love them for allowing us to do so and cranking up the heat lolol
Worth visiting! If not fir the Bakery and bubble tea go up to the second floor and check out some of the shops! Not a modern mall, but does have a character of its own reminiscent of the 80's and 90's.
Very unique experience. So many authentic Asian dishes to choose from. The lobster was a hit.
I love this mall both because it's sentimental to me as my husband took me there for the first time on our first date🥰
I love rainbow bakery. It's sooo delicious, as are the other restaurants and food items, the neat anime stores are my little ones favorites after a coconut bun, we love going here and shopping or just browsing or for snacks or a full meal, in a cute little area to, I believe it's called Chinatown, and it's quite beautiful.

Dragon City Mall was built in 1990 by Calgary philanthropist Sam Switzer, who also built the iconic Summit Hotel as well as the Elbow River Casino. It has become a popular spot in Chinatown with many Asian businesses and its unique design. It's interesting to note that a Feng Shui Master was consulted during the construction to make sure that the building would allow energy (or Qi) to flow in – and not out – according to the laws of the ancient art. It's a fun place to explore, and one of the anchor tenants is the Regency Palace which is on the top floor and features a wooden bridge over a koi pond at the entrance.
Not really a very bad mall but I think it needs a makeover. It's kinda old and lots of shops were closed when I visited the mall considering it was on its mall hours. If you are looking basically asian stuff you can find it there. From fresh bread, herbal suppliments, medicines, travel agency and more.
Always a pleasure coming here. Had lots of fun wandering around looking at all the cute stuff with my friend ((:
Love it! Great shops .. easy to park. Wonderful brunch
Very cool mall! All sorts of Asian content shops from banking to travel and restaurants. The bakery on the main level had awesome buns and tarts! We found a bunch of cool import candies and snacks for our trip home. This is one of our usual stops when in Calgary.
