Plus, I tried a new (to me anyways) restaurant. Our usual mall does not have a Koryo, so I thought since we were there, I would give it a try. Yummy! I totally enjoyed my dumpling Udon soup, and I would surely get it again. Topped with a nice healthy portion of Kimchi, and I was quite happy with my decision. May have to hit up this mall again, if only for the food.
If you eat at sunridge mall at it isn't koryo, you are doing it wrong. Simply excellent - restaurant quality food
2014: Meat is very chewy and rubbery. Not very good quality meat. Had a couple times where the meat was cold/raw in middle.
October, 2016: The middle eastern lady, with light skin, is very pleasant. I still avoid ordering the meat dishes, but the dumpling main, with sides are great. I enjoy the potatoes, broccoli, glass noodles, beansprouts, and sometimes the pasta salad. The sauce makes getting my daily vegetables in, and easy one.
My Favorite Food Court Fare. I love, love, LOVE Koryo. So much, I get cravings for it! I have only ever tried the Sunridge location, but I have never had a less that stellar meal there. The beef is bbq'd so well with just a little crispiness on the edge and their garlic potatoes are to die for - soft inside, crispy outside with just a little sweetness. I usually get the bean sprouts on the side as well. Just a fantastic place!
I like lotto but the one in sunridge mall is a huge disapointment the best one I've tried so far was strangely enough at deerfoot mall
My husband and I love the food. Would come back my birthday.
Tasty fast food. I'm not a fan of food courts unless they are open air and in SE Asia but this is the second time I've tried Koryo and still find that I like it. It's not the Korean food I make at home by any means but it is a nice departure from the usual fare these places offer.
The beef with seasoned rice and potatoes was very tasty ans the "BBQ" sauce whatever it is tastes nice and I found myself adding more to the plate.
Food was good service average. I have wanted to try Koryo for some time now but have not been able to try it out. If you have never been by it is located in Mall food courts and is a Korean BBQ style food. You get to pick from a small selection of steak and chicken combos with your choice of sides. The sides are scoop and serve like most Asian restaurants from tofu, green beans, broccoli and rice. I shared the BBQ beef bun that was a good size Kaiser Bun, BBQ beef, Cole slaw, and a tomato. I quit enjoyed this except the BBQ has a lot of gristle and was tough to bite into and chew at times. We also had the BBQ beef and chicken combo choice of seasoned rice or plain white rice, broccoli and tofu. The staff taking our order asked what sides we would like and my wife asked if I had ever tried Tofu, without hesitation or room for debate the lady put it on our plate and kind of gave us no choice but to take it. The meals were alright I liked the flavor of the charbroiled beef overall it was good. I would try it again but the service was your typical food court experience no personality.
