Very decent take out at a decent price. Ordered here from Skip the Dishes twice and it’s always been good. Haven’t tried any dish I didn’t like.
Very good Chinese at reasonable prices.
Had Deep fried Wonton, Ginger Beef , Sliced Chicken with Vegetables and Shrimp Chow Mein and all was excellent.
No MSG and very fresh food that is not over salted. Will order in again.
I really think this place is 3.5. Food is solid and ok good, went with a friend and we both had one of the many wonton soups. The soup base is lighter tasting that does not taste MSG. The wontons are solid and pretty good, and so is the char siu (BBQ pork). The vegetables are fresh. The best part is their chili oil that is exceptional. We also had the pan fried dumplings for appetizer, again it's solid and ok good. The service was a little off when we arrived just after noon. No one was at the counter and there was quite a bit of lineup. The place is obviously popular with almost no Asian customer. Overall no big wow but a go to place for something simple.
They didn't have the best customer service when I called but the food is amazing loved the chicken fried rice hadn't had decent Chinese food in a while
Have ordered delivery from these guys tons of times. Service is always astounding (delivering in half the time they quote) and food is always hot and tasty.
It's my go to place in the Beltline/Downtown for delivery on nights I am too lazy to cook.
"Canadian" Chinese Food. If you're looking for good Canadianized Chinese Food, the kind you'd get from small town Chinese food restaurants with red vinyl booths, this is it. Deep fried, deliciously unhealthy. If you're looking for authentic Chinese, keep looking, but if you want a big feed of Canadianized Chinese food, this is a great place.
I just ordered a combo with chow mein and got rice for a second time now. They gave me a huge portion but when I called to let them know, all they said was that they didn't charge me extra for chow mein, this doesn't help with my craving for chow mein right now. What am I going to do with all this rice?
Great food. The food portions are huge. And best bang for your $$. Also the food is always fresh.
Loveee It. I would have to say that the food is amazing and the service is fast :) i would recommend this place to all my friends.
Good place for take-out if you like western style Chinese food. You get what you pay for.Big portions and great flavours, but can be very greasy and over fried (which I guess is best part for some). So far my orders where delivered on time, hot and exactly what I ordered.
If your looking for quantity and value with a good taste. The launch box for 9$ is the best thing you can get on 17th ave. It taste amazing and fills you up till the rest of the day. I tried both the ginger beef and chicken they were really nice to indulge in.
I like King's Chinese Foods. They are friendly, the service is quick and they offer sit down service if you have to wait. They also have a bench outside. The food is amazing! Their specials are extensive but make sure you ask them WHEN their specials are. Many are time sensitive. Also, ensure they give you the discounts provided as they seem to 'forget' after then punch in your payment. I have eaten their several times and gotten food for friends and they love it too!

Had the Ginger Beef as takeout. Nice, crunchy exterior, even after a day in the fridge. There's a deceptively large amount of sauce included at the bottom of the pan.
Good overall flavour, actual beef, the meat itself, was probably the mediocre part of the dish. The sauce is tasty, but it no way hot. If tabasco sauce is your limit, you could easily eat this. The heat level is a little bit above pepper. Would I eat it again for $13? Yeah, occasionally, but not on the regular.
We always order the tomato beef onion/chicken fried rice combo and it never disappoints. Tender pcs of beef(lots), fresh tomato's in a delish sauce! Some reviews say the fried rice is bland, we find it has lots of chicken with just the right amount of peas/carrots. Another fav is the sweet and sour chicken/chicken fried rice combo. The staff has always been friendly and smiling.
Come here for lunch a couple of times since my office is nearby. Lunch prices and portions are great. Nothing special, just some solid Chinese fast food. Do NOT get the fried rice however - it is essentially jus rice fried in soy sauce - not much else, meaning very underwhelming taste. ask for chow mein or shanghai noodles instead and enjoy.
Ordered on skip the dish and even though my driver got lost and the food wasn’t hot it was tremendous value and absolutely delish! Would order again! Next day left overs still amazing.
Super friendly, wonderful people. Still thinking about those spring rolls.
Order and did a pick up on way home from work. Food was ready when arrived and was great as always. Love this place
I have ordered from here severally and the food is good. I usually ordered chicken feied rice and dinner for two (which consisted of chicken fried rice, ginger beef, spring rolls and stir fry vegetables). I recommend this restaurant
