My absolute go to for takeout. Food is always delicious and fresh. Service on the phone and delivery is amazing. Each dish is exactly what is described - no surprises. Best take out / delivery in NW hands down.

If you have never tried a chinese food place this would be the place to try. The serivce is quick and the staff is friendly. The food isnt as greasy as you think it would be and the portions are hefty with cheap prices . the dining room is small but its more personal for a gathering. Theres no msg added so the food doesnt make me feel sick to my stomach in half an hour. FANTASTIC PLACE!

Great food. The prices are very reasonable. I found overall the food was great. There were 3 of use who decided to order for delivery instead of going out. Besides our legs were sore from the Calgary Police 1/2 marathon. We were missing one of the containers of rice! There were some food for the next day even though all 3 of us were pretty hungry. I would definitely order here again.

Great food and impressive service. We decided to have lunch here and it was an unexpected surprise how delicious the food was. I had shanghai noodles with chicken and shrimp, which was fresh and flavourful. The meals came out fast and service was friendly. We also received complementary tea and orange slices. The prices were less than I expected considering the quality of food.

Will be back for more.... I've been coming to Ginger Beef Peking House for years and it has never disappointed. The non-traditional Chinese dishes (dishes such as salt and pepper squid and of course, ginger beef) are my favorite as they provide a different style of Chinese food that is unique and will keep me coming back for more. The service was friendly and the general atmosphere of the restaurant was lively. Time and time again I have been pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and encourage anyone who has not tried it to go experience it for themselves.

Service needs some work. The food is ok, but the service definitely needs some work. Dishes were just dropped off and no one ever came back to check to see if everything was all right.

Our Peking Duck dish was completely forgotten about and didn't end up coming out of the kitchen until the very end when everyone was pretty much finished eating.

Could've been a bad night but it didn't seem like they were short staffed and the restaurant was maybe only half full.

Not just ginger beef here!. It's what they're famous for -- but do try the rest of the menu. Be brave: ask for some of the more traditional dishes here. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights at this location are "Noodle Nights" to celebrate 25 years at Brentwood -- try the beef noodle or the hot-and-sout noodle. It's insanely good, espcially the latter. And for $4.50 a bowl?
