Great subs. One of the few places that actually put the liverwurst/pâté on the banh mi. So good. Their lunch special is great value, sub, drink, and 3 big salad rolls. Stuffed
They raised the prices from 4 to $5 which is still a steal of a deal. Huge sub and delicious food! The ladies that work there are fabulous too!

Let's be honest... you don't come here for their decor/ atmosphere or great customer service, you come for an amazingly good deal but yet delicious sub! Although the staff is friendly, it's still a fast food joint with very minimal English speaking servers who work fast at getting your order out. Best Vietnamese sub deal in town @ $4 each.

Very Tasty!!. I love their beef subs! They're delicious and perfect for a quick lunch. Can't go wrong with $4. Great value. Their combos are good if you like salad rolls or soup. Can't wait to have another one!
I Love Their Banh Mi!. There are countless Vietnamese eateries in Calgary, but none make Banh Mi subs so delicious and for so cheap. I usually order a Beef Saté or Chicken Saté and they are only $4. If you don't like hot stuff, ask them to not put on hot peppers. I'm not a weakling though so I always get mine "with everything". To my friends I affectionately refer to the older lady usually working as "Mama La Cay". She and her staff/family? sure know how to make banh mi. You must try them today! I can't speak highly enough of La Cay for your Vietnamese sub fix.

Combo #2, please.... From the outside it doesn't look like much, and from the inside it's easy to mistaken it for a lebanese donair shop. What they are lacking in decor, they make up for in taste. That is why this is my favorite little hole-in-the-wall in Calgary.
For $9 you get a foot long satay sub, (3) salad rolls and a drink. My favorite is the peanut satay chicken sub, with pickled carrots, cucumber and cilantro. I have been coming here for years, and I have never been disappointed. They have this funny little system where if you order the combo #2, the cute little old lady in the back will get on her speed-dial, holler something in vietnamese, and then go back to making your sub. By the time you get your sub, your drink and find a seat, someone comes running in from who-knows-where with your salad rolls in a take-out container. I still have no idea where the salad rolls are coming from...all I know is they are good! It's a funny system, but highly efficient. All part of the experience :)
