Stopped into Dirtbelly for a good lunchtime salad - and that's what I got! Sweet and Spicy Greens was served in a large salad bowl to-go, packed with all the listed ingredients with a good amount of dressing. Service time was pretty quick (around 1pm) and salads are clearly made of fresh ingredients laid out in front of you. The menu seemed to have a good amount of options from salads to grain bowls, easily made vegetarian or vegan if not initially stated. A great stop for a quick and healthy lunch!
Repeat customer at the Market Mall location. That veggie baco!! šš¼š So good!! Pretty much the only option in the mall for a plant-based, healthy meal that wonāt bloat you before trying on those skinny jeans. Iāll be back fo sho!

The thought of spending $3.50 per scoop of salad was rather off-putting until I tried dirtbelly's ahi tuna salad (tuna, watermelon rashish, edamame, broccoli stems with ginger vinaigrette). It was a perfect medley of flavours and had a good balance of crunchiness and nuttiness, which made it a reasonably priced downtown lunch option. The broccoli, kale, ricotta salad was also decent, although not as delicious as its tuna counterpart. If you are in the area and are craving lighter fare, I would definitely give dirtbelly a try.
Love the salad varieties... slightly on the pricey side but the quality is greatā¦. Definitely coming back for more, it will be one of my favorite lunch spot!
Noticed this place just before the lunch hour while walking by on the +15 last week and decided to stop in. Interesting concept of pay per scoop salads. I had the one with edamame beans and tuna in it and all I can say is, wow! The chicken breast that I added wasn't real chicken breast, but more like the synthetic type that come frozen with the fake grill lines. Next time I'll eat the salad plain or try adding the seared tuna.
A bit pricey for some salad. Dirtbelly does own up to its name though, everything is prepared fresh, organic and nutritious. It's a cute little shop and located very close to my work. I highly recommend their tuna as an addition to any salad you choose. My personal favourite is the sweet potato and quinoa!
Great healthy food option located on the +15 between the Core and bankers hall. Choice of seasonal salad options and their baco (half bread and half taco). You can taste that the ingredients are high quality and they are locally sourced, which makes the somewhat high price more palatable.

Looking for a healthy meal to go? Well look no further! Located downtown inside the Core shopping center, between the Plus 15 section and Bankers Hall, resides Dirtbelly. Dirtbelly opened its doors back in June, and since their opening I have heard nothing but great reviews from my friends. They definitely target the busy business crowd during the weekdays; a healthy and quick grab-to- go lunch before heading back to the office. What brought me to Dirtbelly since I donāt even work remotely close to downtown? The nasty cold that has been going around finally caught up to me last Wednesday and I just felt like a heavy bag of potatoes. Secondly I volunteered to pick up my boyfriend from work and, since I took the day off work, I got myself ready and headed downtown a bit early. I decided to kill some time by walking around the Core, since I rarely go there on the weekends. I hadnāt eaten lunch yet that day and decided what a perfect time to try out Dirtbelly. What a bright and vibrant little place.
What took me so long to discover this place. I'm in love with dirt belly. If only they had a location closer to my work in the NE. I got the kale, broccoli, ricotta salad with ahi tuna. I wasn't feeling well and tried their newest drink: carrot, Apple + ginger juice. The ginger def made me feel better. They have so many options there and I want to try the baco's next. I enjoyed my salad and it had a bit of kick to it which was awesome. The ahi tuna was done perfectly as well. If u are in the core I highly recommend checking them out.
