My wife and I came by for our anniversary. The waitress Helene was great checking the food for allergy content and was uvery friendly and outgoing. She was very busy but still looked after our every need. Our food was excellent as well. A great night made better by our visit to Applebees
Great food , great specials and a relaxed atmosphere. Our server (Helen) was excellent with her prompt polite courteous service. Definitely go back and enjoy it all another time.
First time eating here and definitely will go back. Ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger & crispy potatoes and it was delicious! Had the deep fried pickle for appy and it was delicious as welL can’t remember what hubby had but he enjoyed it, as did it our friends that we were there with. Love that it’s close to the theatre. Service was great (though I regretfully forget my servers name, she did great. Will go again for sure

First time there celebrating my husband and little girls birthday. It was incredible from service to Outstanding food. All 6 of the meals ordered were spot on. Props to the chefs. We drove 40 minutes and it was worth it.
We (10 of us)were to wait to get seated in 40mins but voila before we could change our minds to look for somewhere else....tabke as ready...food perfecto!!!

In my opinion, the food at Applebee's has gone downhill. The food was without flavour. We had the 3 cheese penne and the appie platter with chicken tacos, dumplings and wings. The service was pretty good other than taking awhile to get the bill.
Lots if seating and great for watching sporting events because you have your own speaker to tune into the different tvs. Average dine in experience for a reataurant chain. Staff was friendly. Dinner for 4 with their specials came in about $20-$25 a person with no alcohol. Ask about the extra charges in condiments
Overall the meal there was good. The food was surprisingly enjoyable, the service however was not very reliable. The waitress would hardly every come by and it seemed completely uninterested in checking on us. Would go again and hopefully get a different waitress.
I don't mind this place. It's nothing amazing. It's a place to meet up with a bunch of friends. Food is ok, service is ok. I'd choose this over woody's pub.
Excellent Server, Good Food. I don't really understand the negative reviews for this restaurant but I will give you my experience I had tonight.
Went in tonight and had a great server that was on point in refilling our drinks and offered suggestions on what to try for appetizers and entree's. I find the food great, they have a great selection that I appreciate more than what Boston Pizza next door has to offer.
I tried one of the Sizzler options that came out nice and hot with great flavor while my friend had the Fiesta Lime Chicken which was also a hit.
Overall I will be back, the prices are reasonable and the server was amazing, great place to come for a casual meal.
Its okay. The food is pretty good. The burger is something special and the "big" salad was also good. The appy/entree/entree deal is always good too. I am surprised the rating is so bad. I mean its not gourmet but we didnt have a bad experience.
Great Food and Service. I've been avoiding this restaurant because of all the negative reviews, but today we felt like going somewhere new so I went anyway (without high hopes). We were seated and served promptly by a fantastic waitress, Alisha. The food came quickly and exactly as ordered. Everything was hot, tasty and satisfying. I overate because the meal was so tasty. Dessert was also prompt, hot and yummy. Our server even topped off my salsa when she packed up my food. I will definitely go back to Applebee's in the future.

Is the customer ALWAYS right...?. Luckily the second time I encountered a certain act of unfairness here, I didn't actually EAT anything. And I've visited this establishment before, but I can't exactly recall what it is that I ate! Not a good sign, guys! Anywho, I clicked the "like" button cause I, personally, had a positive experience at Applebee's. The service was satisfactory and personal, the food was quite tasty (though a little soggy come to think of it) and I've always been partial to the overall appearance of Applebee's. It's not exactly perfect, though. 1. They cut off the meal deals a few minutes early and 2. They refuse service if you arrive too late. May seem like a minor flaw, but people leave angry so they must be doing SOMETHING wrong. I'll give 'em another shot though. It's not like Applebee's is NOT trying.
Great!!. I visit quite often for appetizers...they are pretty good. Just a bit greasy but they are perfect price wise. Service is good and very quick.
The food is good and the service is also good. The food prep takes forever I had time to do my taxes in the time it took for the food to arrive. If they could speed up there kitchen they would be very good.
Always great food/service!. I can't believe all the negative reviews on here. We go to Applebee's every month or two and have always had great service and great food. The servers are especially good (to the point where my 14 year old wants to be a server just like them, he was so impressed with this one gentleman we had last Monday!) This is always a busy place on weekends, but we've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a table. Our orders are always filled quickly when we are seated, and we can usually be in and out in about an hour (which is important for us as we also have a toddler!) I highly recommend Applebees!
Applebee's. I went here on a saturday afternoon,it was busy and we had to wait but who doesnt have to wait at any restaurant on a saturday afternoon,the waitress was friendly this being our 1st time there she made sure to tell us if we had any questions"feel free to ask"everything went perfectly,i herd some of the other tables complaining because they had 2 wait 2mins for there plates 2 b cleared REALLY PEOPLE i dont think the empty plate is gonna attack you i could understand if it wa like 10-15mins anyway i think the servers are great we have gone back alot of times scents then and what i think:
its great and people need to chill out remember you are not the only people they have in the restaurant and remember no one is perfect i mean how many times have you said omg i cant believe i just did that we all mess up at our jobs from time 2 time NO ONE IS PERFECT.

Like it...4/5. The first time I tried Applebee is back when I was in the US which is like 3yrs ago, and it was a pretty good experience so I decided to try the Canadian version last night.
Menu: I think Applebee offers a very great menu with a variety of choices,a plus for adding some healty dishes. 5/5
Service : good 4/5 but it seems like each server has to take care of over 5 tables,so my guess is you may have to wait a lil bit longer when the place gets busy.
Food: we tried the tropical chicken salad, the Shrimp N Parm (a 6-8oz steak with sauteed shrimp and cheese on top), the Asiago peppercorn steak, and their rib basket.
My first impression by looking at the menu was that their prices are a lot cheaper compare to Montana, Moxie,or Earl's; therefore I didn't really expect the food to be extreme delicous or blow-mind. However,considering the prices,the food were really great and beyond my expectation. The steaks were well done to order, the grilled chicken salad was well dressed and mixed, the rib was a lilte burned on the bottom but its tatse was fine (not as good as other dishes). 3.5/5
Plus a glass of red wine all cam down to around $71 ,which I must say, a pretty good deal we got there for 4 dishes!!
Don't expect too much out of this restaurant b/c remember, you get what you pay for; however, I think Applebee has done a really good job within its price range.
