NEW OWNERS! The new owners are lovely and very friendly. Sounds like they are looking to make improvements including extending their hours and hosting live music. They serve Fratello coffee and have delicious baked goods! I look forward to seeing the new and upcoming changes at Savour!
The coffee at Savour is some of the best I've had anywhere in the world, I'm surprised it's not busier. If coffee is your thing this is a place not to miss.
Best Caramel Latte I've ever had anywhere. Every city, and country I visit, I try the caramel latte at a local coffee shop, and Savour has the best one I've ever had. The caramel flavour is mild and the latte texture is smooth. The espresso has a soft, clean finish, and the drink has just the right amount of sweetness (not drowned in syrup). I come here almost every day. The owner and staff are very friendly, always smiling and I often have the drink to stay because it's really relaxing people-watching on 4th street (I've always received my stay-drink in a proper coffee mug). The cafe store IS clean and SMELLS clean (which is more than I can say for Purple Perk). It is spacious and has modern, urban decor and I'll be honest, the cleanliness helps me relax. I tried the vanilla almond pastry which is addictive (have it warm) and the sweet cheese danish is also excellent. With this place, they do a few things and they do them right. Highly Recommended.
I recently went to Savour for some food and a spiced chai latte. I had salad rolls and a beef sate sub. I really liked the combination of asian and western food/drink. Both the chai and the food were yummy! The staff was really nice and helped me decide what I should get. I even got to the meet the owner! Who seems really involved in the cafe and was a delight. She said they are rebranding... I am excited to see the changes :) Would definitely be back!
Lovely space, friendly staff, 10/10 coffee.. After discovering Savour (It does blend in a little bit with the surrounding businesses) it has become a part of my daily routine. The staff are very obliging and courteous, and always take a moment to chat. They also make the most consistent americano's here, and the banh mi and pastries are stellar!
Defintely worth giving Savour a shot if you usually get your coffee in the downtown area, and appreciate a properly made latte or americano.
Cute. Nice. Quite. Cute. I thought the drinks were a little but pricey but the coconut chia iced latte was very good, not quite worth 5.25 though. The service was good, but that should be expected when there is only one other costumer in the whole joint. Good study spot :)
Distinctive Coffee Shop. Exceptional customer service. Very helpful and courteous staff. Took my niece there for a studying session and it was a success. My niece loved the hot chocolate! The coconut latte and cookie was delicious. I'm pretty picky with cookies. Highly recommend this place. Cant wait to sit outside on the patio in the summer with a cup of latte. Will feel like Montreal. I support local entrepreneur over franchises.
Decent coffee shop. I've been to Savour a few times to work. It's fairly quiet (though adding some pads under the metal chairs would be a nice touch) and Fratello coffee is the best. This place is much less pretentious and less packed (in a good way) than Analog, which also serves Fratello.
I will agree that it's weird that they constantly mop/vacuum around you. I get it if it's 5 minutes to close and you're trying to signal it's time for folks to leave, but in the middle of the afternoon it's odd. One time an employee even got my shoe with the mop. Ick.
Great place, really warm and inviting atmosphere. AWESOME customer service too. I had their special (it's like soda with a twist), Americano and just a cappuccino and really satisfied. I've yet to try the sandwiches and other hand foods. I'm not entirely sure what Rachel J McDougall-Sutherland is talking about in the previous review but stop smoking whatever you're on. If you don't like it, awesome, but there's no reason to talk about "cousins/siblings borrowing money from parents so they don't have to get a real job". It's ignorant and appalling. As a "business owner from Mission" I'd expect more. You look old, so get some etiquette and actually act your age.
