Biggest surprise considering the rating of this place! The owner was friendly and efficient and I saw him go above and beyond for multiple customers during my visit (helped a mother clean the huge mess her kid made and gave an older couple complimentary tea while they hung around after they ate waiting for an appointment). I of course had the Beef Satay Soup which was delicious and I didn't need to add any sriracha or hoison to enhance the flavor. The regular size was a huge portion. Cant imagine what the XL would have been. I also had the Satay Shrinp Salad Rolls as a recommendation from the owner. So flavorful and the bean sprouts inside made them a nice crunchy texture. The peanut sauce that came with was the owners own recipe and was also amazing!
The food here is really good. i love the pho sate and the skewer appy is soo worth getting! i stop by when i need am to lazy to make my own pho. highly recommended.

Been coming here since it opened. The staff are friendly and the owner always comes to our table to chat and say hi. The pho satè (beef/seafood) are tasty and a regular size is a good portion. Plenty of beef or seafood in each portion! Their veggie spring rolls and shrimp salad rolls are also yum. They have vietnamese subs however I didn't like the saté flavor they used on my sub.
Overall this place is clean, fast and their pho is always satisfying.
Decent food. We got take away. Staff was very friendly and the decor is nice inside. We ordered quite a few things to get a feel for the flavours. Everything was okay-good nothing super special. It is not a place I would crave or go out of the way to try but if I was in the neighbourhood again I would consider ordering. The pho sate beef was not as spicy or peanut-y as I usually like. The pork and spring roll vermicelli was good, fish sauce was nice and the pork was cooked perfectly. The Springs rolls were okay. The pork sate sub was pretty bland, the carrots were not very vinegary and again the sate was lacking flavour. The pork and shrimp salad rolls and peanut sauce were great.
Excellent service, clean bright environment, and by far the best Vietnamese Restaurant in the neighborhood. Try their sate chicken, beef, and shrimp skewers, - or any of their taste soups. The food is delicious and filling, made with all fresh ingredients. Love their bubble tea made with real fruit! Customer service is excellent!
I eat here every other week. The beef pho sate and the beef lemongrass sub are my favourites. Going to miss this place after moving to the SW.
Had lunch here and it was amazing. We tried the special pho sate(chicken & beef) it was so good. Nice to have a restaurant like this in the area. We had two small children with us and they treated us really well with impeccable and personable service. We look forward to going back.

I am not sure what the bad ratings are about - I love this little place. As a vegetarian my options can be limited, so when i find a place that does veggie options well I am so happy. Hands down I find they make THE BEST Vietnamese subs in the city. The Lemon Grass Tofu sub is incredible. Lots of layers of flavours, and so delicious. The service is efficient, pleasant and the restaurant is very clean and the prices are very reasonable. I really hope this places does well. I think they are doing everything right. :)
Despite the bad ratings, I honestly didn't mind it here. I have been here twice, once to dine in and another for take out. All in all, it would be my go to in the far NW and everyone thought it was much better than Vietnam Palace in Creekside.
The decor is new and it's very clean. Comfy booths. I agree it is a bit on the pricier side but compensates the drive to the hood. I had the pho sate and it's pretty nutty. They actually add grounded nuts to the soup. Service was friendly and great. When we dined in, they blasted Vietnamese music! LOL
