The service here is insanely friendly. They're good with recommendations and they really know how to sell the dish.
I grabbed a chicken pot pie and my friend grabbed a sort of steak that was a special that day. We also grabbed the calamari as an appetizer.
I highly recommend that calamari. What a treat it was, definitely some of the best calamari I've tried in a while!
It's a bit hidden downtown, but it's also very busy. Remember to make a reservation if you're coming during peak times!
We went here on a work lunch some time back, and I have to say I was really impressed with their gluten free burgers and sandwiches. Sadly I don't have any photos of it, but I do have one of their chocolate mousse (which was delish btw)!
Most reliable caterer, hands down!. I've never eaten at their dining location, but I rely heavily on Green Bean as a caterer for office functions. Just today I had to put in a last minute lunch order for an emergency meeting that popped up and they had an executive lunch for ten diners at my office within an hour. I love Green Bean and would recommend them to anyone! Their breakfast sandwiches, cookies, and cheese & fruit trays are particularly impressive!
Tess and Amy go to the Green Been for Lunch. I met up with my friend on our lunch break to go to The Green Bean. We ordered the stew. It was good, but that's about it. Add some Sour Cream and Hot Sauce then it's really good. I felt it was a healthy choice and very filling, but a little underwhelming. Not sure I'd rush to go back here.

Fresh, Incredible Catering. Working downtown, I often need to access catering services for meetings at my office. Every single time I order from Green Bean, I am thoroughly satisfied. You can call them or order online. They are punctual, the food comes exactly as I ordered it and everyone in my office loves it. No one complains about having sandwiches anymore since we started ordering from Green Bean. The fruit platter is always impressive. (I always find that is a hit or miss with caterers). The best thing about them is that they can specifically do last minute orders (which I have done) and everything is of the same quality.
I also used to work right next to Green Bean at their old location. They have amazing service and the food is so fresh. I could never get tired of the sandwiches there. They will even make you a custom sandwich on the spot. Go for one of their soups and you will not be disappointed either (the mushroom/ potatoes soups are fantastic). The salmon sandwich is to die for!
I could go on forever! So into it!
Great food and staff. We generally have lunch here once a week.
Have not had a bad meal yet, we have pretty much tried everything on menu and the occasional lunch special.
Was there last Friday and our drinks were a little slow in arriving so waitress took them off the bill. Was also there today and I did not care for the excessive seasoning on steak, when I mentioned it they took it off the bill.
So they look after their customers.
Just amazing. I go here to order the caesar salad with chicken. Excellent service, these people work really hard.
We also use them for catering during meetings. You cant go wrong !

Yummmm. I get Green Bean though the office all the time. I felt it was about time I wrote a review for them.
Love the sandwiches. We have so many meetings with clients coming into town we can always depend on impressing them with the Green Bean. I love love love the roast beef. My coworker is a big fan of the Cajun Chicken and we have a mutual interest in the cookies that show up every once in a while.
Staff is always friendly and helpful as well.
Keep up the good work over there... you make my job easier.
