Good, but needs more flavour overall. Limited baking (read: no egg tarts), but congee options are plentiful & popular. Soup dumplings are decent. (4/5)
We are regulars here. It's no Michelin star restaurant but we find it is the best money for value/taste/service. Don't limit yourself to the beef& broccoli or ginger beef etc... they do loads of very delicious and more authentic Chinese food.
Great place for awesome authentic Chinese food. I've only been here once since it's out of my way far in the NW but if I'm ever in the area I will always keep it in mind for a visit. Can't comment on their Canadianised Chinese food menu since I'm sure there are better places for that.
Always our go to restaurant for Chinese food. The servers are friendly and the traditional Chinese food is very delicious. You can count on quality food and freshness. You can't go wrong here.
Went here for dim sum. Had to wait a few minutes at the door before a server came. The food was very good. Would come again for sure. Excellent salt and pepper squid.
Always go there for lunch with family on Saturday, never disappointed. Marinated whole chicken (Gwai Fay Kai) is always my fav dish. Great service
I usually come here for family dinners. Chinese food always has the best value in terms of big group dinners. You order your set dinners depending on the number of people you have. I always enjoy the different courses you get with these set dinners alittle bit of everything.
I like snow palace for their shanghai style food during weekend lunch. The pan fried wontons, congee, and crepe noodles are delicious.
They do get busy and sometimes i feel they are a little understaff, but i notice that in other chinese restaurants as well. Overall this is a great place for chinese food.

Quality's gone a bit downhill since their move, but I'll chalk that up to them getting their legs back. Try the Palace Style Chicken Gai Ding - it's pretty different than what you'll get at most other "western-style" Chinese places in Calgary, so it's worth grabbing with takeout.
If you can swing it, eat in and have some stuff from their Chinese menu.
This is a great restaurant that serves both western Chinese food and traditional. Prices are in line with most traditional restaurants but you have to know what to order. Order from the 2nd half of the menu. The 2nd half of the menu is not on the take out menu so be careful. They have great specials and deals but again on the special part of the menus. Will continue to come back here.
Delicious. We've been coming to snow palace for years. Service has always been fantastic. Food is well priced and generously portioned. For newbies, try the sweet and sou fish with a drizzle of mayo on top, combined with deep fried milk...I k ow, sounds weird...just try it. Also get the stirred fried green beans, its great! I do feel for those that don't read Chinese, as I've never ordered from the menu before...usually just the specials from their board on the wall. If you see something you like going to another table, just ask and they will serve it to you too:)
