Always enjoy visiting the pub. Awesome drinks and good specials in addition to the fantastic staff! Not like cookie cutter corporate at all, all of the staff have great personalities and always deliver a positive experience! Kelsi has been our server several times and is great, fast service and gives great suggestions! Will absolutely be back.
I was so impressed with the service that was provided at this venue. I called last minute and the staff were friendly and able to accommodate. I highly recommend the oysters. They were fresh and delicious. Also, not overpriced like so many other spots on the strip. I'll definitely be going back!
I had dinner at this place a couple of weeks ago while in the area on business.
It’s your prototypical Irish pub, but it doesn’t suffer from that. The feel is warm and inviting, very open, lots of woods (and loud). Service was very good - quick to be seated, quick for drink and food orders, quick enough from the kitchen. No complaints.
The menu is common pub fare - pub classics, finger foods, burgers & sandwiches. Our group had a reasonable cross section from the menu- salads, soups, entrees and daily specials and everyone was satisfied with the quality of the food. Portions are on the largish side without being cartoonish. The food was well prepared and good without reaching great status. The place also has a good sized beer selection with a good variety of options and tastes.
Price wise it’s what you’d expect - neither cheap nor expensive, just as n line with other places of its ilk. I liked it, and I’d come back if I was in the area in the future.
I stay downtown Calgary so I can go to the James Joyce for the chicken curry. I have never been disappointed. You have to love the Irish servers as well. My favourite place to go on Stephen's ave.

Courtney our server gave absolutely amazing service tonight she was super friendly remembered everything we got and even separated our bills without asking outstanding service and food! Will be back! Thanks for a wicked night
I was here on a Friday night on a long weekend, it wasn't busy at all. It was a nice summer evening, so we ended up getting a table close to the patio. Food was good, ordered chicken sandwich & wings. For drinks, we had white wine sangria pitcher. Drinks could have been better, sangria tasted like juice without any wine. Crowd was decent, not the best of the town , but again its a pub so people are more casual. Don't expect anything fancy, go there if you don't want to spend a lot on food/drinks. Service is good!
Nice place. Service and food was good. The only negative thing was their beer wasn't served cold enough. Otherwise I would recommended this place.
Great Experience. Over the weekend a few friends and I went for a couple pints. Great experience and atmosphere. The bartender was great and always looking out for us and making sure our glasses weren't empty. We will go back for sure!!
Overall good. Consistent with the other Jameson's overall good experience and atmosphere but nothing spectacular
Great Service and Food. I have been here many times and have had great service! I find that the male bartenders are a little more friendly than the lady servers, but oh well. By friendly I mean more courteous, quick service, smile on their face, willing to talk, etc.
I love the food and the atmosphere and that is why I keep going back!
Favourite. Jamesons Irish Pub is definitely one of my favourite places to go for lunch, snakcs, dinner, or a night out. The service is always great, the food is delicious and they always have awesome deals when you're not looking to break the bank

I went here late in the eve after work to meet up with a friend for her birthday party. I wasn't overly hungry but snackish and ordered the poutine. I found it a bit overly salty but pretty much with out much flavor. Also they made some geographical errors when writing the menus to list where their beer was from. If I do recall correctly they had fruli listed from Italy when its clearly a Belgian beer, and I think it was New Castle they had listed as something else other then south African. The customer service was good and the lady we had was very good at handling the other drunken customers and humored me when I complained about the obvious mistakes even though she personally has no say in the menus. I like it for what it is but not smoothing I would ever go out of my way to go to.
