I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, it was pretty quite and lots of seats open. Place was pretty clean and service was nice and fast. We had the big burrito and hangover hash with alberta beef brisket. The beef was amazing, it was perfectly cooked and went very well with the eggs, hash brown and tomatoes. I would definitely be back for brunch.

The place has a smokehouse vibe with the decor. I was visiting from Toronto and came across the place near my hotel. It was the rib special night so I tried them. I thought they were very, very good but not great. They were not fall off the bone tender like I like them. But that is a preference thing. The taste was excellent and they were well prepared. The waitress was excellent.

We had the all you can eat ribs. They were delicious. The chipotle bbq sauce and the mustard is a must try. The sides of beans and coleslaw were great too. The service was excellent.

Great food. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the beans were delicious, the cole slaw was crispy and fresh. The waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful. Love the funky atmosphere, comfortable, casual and interesting.

Cool themed memorabilia of a dining establishment. But the menu pricing is onerously expensive in comparison to the value served and the service rendered. And it's loudness isn't conducive to hosting business meetings in the downtown core.

The nachos were pretty good. Amazing atmosphere here. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were pretty fun to talk to. They play some of the best music in town and a pretty big variety of it too.

Good place. Looks a little dated and the bench I was on wasn't super comfy. Food was good but not great. The smoked chicken was great but the ribs and brisket were lacking. They needed to be on the smoker longer.

Solid 4. The only reason why it doesn’t rate a perfect 5 is the price. Otherwise, it’s consistently good and my go to is always the brisket. While some sides are definitely better than others in terms of value, it just comes down to a matter of taste. I’d recommend the smoked pit beans, bacon corn on the cob. Avoid coleslaw, it’s very pedestrian.

I was excited until I experienced the service and had the food. After seeing 'The Palomino' on 'You Gotta' Eat Here!' a few weeks ago I was more then extatic to give it a try. I talked this place up like to my friends like it was God sent. My mistake. The waitress really couldn't give a rats ass. It was like we were inconviencing her by sitting at her table. The beer was flat. We had some of the fried pickles and jalapeño poppers for appetizers. Change the oil please? The coating was dark, dark brown. A true sign of old oil. They were also luke warm. I don't think they were freshly made. Then we had the 'fat ass' platter. It was okay. Ribs were over done and a bit dry. Same with the deep fried corn wrapped in bacon. Sure didn't live up to the show review. We had no desert as we were done with it all. Waitress carried that 'here's the bill now get out' mentality. Won't be going back and definitely won't be recommending the place.

love this place. used to come there nearly everyday when I went to bow valley college... in retrospect probably wasn't the healthiest habit but that's on me and not on the tremendously friendly and chill staff. This place is exactly my type of greasy; by that I don't mean the cleanliness of the establishment (as it is impeccable) but that it's covered in band stickers and the people working and down to earth. (also at the time a bucket had to be put on tge floor whenever it rained haha classic roof issues) food was also really good when I went with other people that actually ordered food and not just double jack diet's short no ice and pabts blue pints (cheapest on tap). in conclusion I have had a tremendous amount of good times here and I commend the staff for tolerating me with such a pleasant demeanor and I hope to return soon. hopefully you guys host some gutteral shows soon.
p.s. if you guys need an opener for a metal show hit me up my band will play for free

Our first visit was for #CalgaryIdol2017 preliminary rounds (not sure how we've not been here before, but.....). We loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed our food (burger with boring fries & cheesesteak with garlic fries.). The beer was cold. They could have used 1 more server on the main floor during the busiest part of the evening, but our waitress at least checked in to make sure we were still giving her a 'thumbs up' as she ran by all evening. So overall, we would go back for a musical occasion, but could use just a hint more staff (at least while the patio is open......).

The service wasn't great, felt like we were inconveniencing our server by being there. My meal consisted of mostly fat (now I know there's suppose to be fat in a beef brisket buuuuuuut not the whole thing �) I barely ate it. My friends meals looks good though, so there's something !

Beef Brisket Dip was da bomb!..👍🏽I'm visiting here from Vancouver for a couple of weeks and I found the service quite prompt!...Jalapeno poppers were awesome and garlic fries and of course the bacon wrapped corn cobs!....can't wait to come back here!

Pulled pork sandwich, bacon covered corn and beans, very good stuff. Sandwich was simply amazing, as was the corn. Beans were ok, but my girlfriends garlic fries are a new favourite

This place was basically why i come to Calgary and not once have there been door guys but apparently this time there were and because i just moved i have a Temp drivers licence and apparently i look like a minor? Denied entry and Pretty bummed, wont be going back.
