I just wanted to thank Emily and Steve at HeatherLee Last night we ate the best meal I have ever ever BBQ (or cooked) in my life. The dry age steak was totally totally unbelievable. The smell, the flavours and taste with only salt and pepper , the steaks just melted in our mouths. The vegetables we got were truly fresh and tasted like I remember as a young boy from my grandmothers garden.
And Emily I don't want to let this secret out but your Peach Pie was that special finish to a awesome meal. ( I think it could be my mane course meal one day of each week coming up. lol )
Our friend from Iceland had never had a steak like that as well. And he travels the world quite a bit.
Sorry but anticipation of the meal got the best of me and I didn't take a finished picture of the food. But everyone believe me, it was good. We will be back. Cheers and enjoy everyone.

It is very hard to find a butcher that stocks quality meat cuts and I’d say Heatherlea is one of the best. They’re well stocked and have many cuts to choose from. What isn’t out at the counter they will cut for you. We’ve bought brisket, ribs, pork shoulder, prime rib, chuck, steaks, sausage, fish... it’s always fresh. They have stocked freezers as well with vac packed meat if you want something to store for a while. Everything we’ve had that was frozen was perfect. They are well worth the drive out. Plus it’s a nice drive :)
We are so lucky to have this place right around the corner! To anyone who says they are overpriced have no idea what they are talking about. Everything is fresh and delicious and most importantly local. I love love love it!! Delicious meat, local veg and friendly staff make this my favourite weekend stop �
