The greatest fast food ever. Finally in Vancouver, so now I can stop driving to Seattle for my fix. The Metrotown location is really well run, fast, and efficient at dealing with the huge crowds. The only knock is that it's cash or credit only, which corporate needs to fix. Oh yeah. The food is amazing.
Delicious. The line up was long, so I knew it'd be good! The queue moved quickly because the employees worked quickly and efficiently. All options are vegan if you don't add meat, cheese or sour cream. I had the black bean Sofritos burrito, yummy! I can't wait to go back.
After a minor error in my order I was given half my meal for free. Best customer service ever. Staff actually seemed to care. What a pleasant surprise. Can't wait to go back.
Thank you for going non gmo!! You guys rock!! I will drive out of my way to eat Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Truly authentic Mexican veg dishes. Burrito bowl with lots of veggies, salsa, sour cream and guacamole makes a perfect meal. This place is must for Mexican food lover and located in a prime situation.
This location is always crowded and easy to understand why. It’s at one of the biggest malls in Canada and this shop in comparison is so small. I would say that the workers aren’t stingy about portions and that if you ask for me they’re kind enough to give it to you without charging you extra.
I always pass by here when I'm heading for the bus and it's perfect for a healthy lunch or dinner. The portion is always good and I love using the app for convenience.
There’s always a line up because it’s so damn good! Either find the patience to wait for a table or take it away. Don’t rate a restaurant low because it’s crowded/ busy. If it’s empty it would prob taste like shit. SMH
There’s always a line up here and it is not because the service is slow, but because the food is amazing! I went on Halloween Day when they had $3 menu items - so worth it. Service at the counter was fast. I wish the tables were looked after. They were not being cleaned as guests were leaving.
CMG is still dishes out tasty, fresh food. Although for a reasonable amount of calories, take half of whatever you order home. My fave to order are the burrito bowls to go - that way I can consume a reasonable amount of salt, fat and carbs in one sitting and prevent the dreaded food coma from seeking her vengeance. Salsas, and toppings are fresh and the chicken and steak are tender and have that lovely grilled tasted to them.
Service was friendly and fast. Cafeteria style communal in the dining room - bright, clean, comfy space. Just fine for the fast casual experience.
$9 for a meal (or two) is still good value in my books.
I must be the last person that has tried Chipotle. After always walking past a lineup that could easily be out the door, I finally found the time to line up and have a bite or two!. We ordered a burrito with steak and rice, salsa chips and guacamole, bowl with carnitas and all the works and also two Organic soda drinks.
To find a well stuffed burrito for a price that feels like it's worth the price is not as easy as it might seem. But here we have it, good value, fresh ingredients, and fast; the lunch time line up conveys this well. Now that I have had a few different combinations of ingredients, I will admit that some combos are a little mundane, but with a little for thought and imagination this can be avoided - which has turned out my favourite, spicy chicken with extra lettuce and tomato with guacamole!
Vegetarian guy here. Oh man so good. Been here couple of times for lunch. I get the burrito wrap or burrito in a bowl with the wrap on the side. There usually a line up but it goes fast. The staff is quite fast. Burritos are really filling. Would recommend it to anyone that likes Mexican food. Will come back.
I had chipotle for over 7 years in New York. Its healthy because you can choose brown rice and the meats are free from hormones and antibiotics. For me who are still counting calories are embarrassing. I only count calories on carbs, especially refined carbs. And read about food combining, there are ways you can combine food and you will never gain weight. I love chipotle as a healthy part of a fit diet. Love it so much. Avocados are a superfood and I love eating here. Thank God it's so close to my house. People are stuck on calories and cholesterol myth...too funny.
Chicken burrito, pinto beans, and guacamole. It's conveniently located just by the Skytrain station. They offer a couple of local beers as well as Corona.
I’m a bit torn with Chipotle Mexican Grill… one the one hand, I love how you can pick and choose all of the fresh ingredients to make a tasty meal. On the other hand, I don’t delude myself into thinking that it’s always healthy to eat at Chipotle. I’m sure a lot of people would say that, compared to eating at McDonald’s, Chipotle has got to be better, right? Well, if you’re just looking at the nutrition calculators on their websites, Chipotle is actually not that healthy at all… mainly due to the portion size.
I went there few times and they always have long line up. I always picked salad with the toppings on. I was surprised that the salad was quite filling. They are very organized and price was reasonable (range from $8.95 up) Their guacamole is excellent and it's a must to add on your order.
I've heard the hype. People in Southern Cal apparently have a thing for Chipotle. They eat it religiously, just like they eat In N Out (or is that just a myth?) ;) After coming across countless #chipotleislife hashtags on instagram, my expectations were high LOL. Because instagram can't be wrong, now can it? ;) Eh, the food was okay. But I have to admit, for fast food, it's pretty decent. For "Mexican" food, not so much LOL. But hey, at least it was semi-healthy, better than eating at A&W next door haha (though I do like their burgers!) But obviously it can't compare to real Mexican food from an actual Taqueria haha. Have you guys ever heard of "Chipotle Hacks?" Apparently you can "hack" chipotle by asking for secret menu items, like a quesadilla burrito, which is exactly what it sounds like, a burrito wrapped with a quesadilla on the outside...I'm so doing that next time hehe! But that would probably blow my calories through the roof!!! Hey, I have to make sure dem pants still fit!! ;) You can also make your own burrito by ordering a burrito bowl, and asking for a (free) tortilla on the side!! I was going to, but then I forgot LOL, cause I was too busy looking at all the FOOD!! :D Chipotle has another location downtown that's been open for quite some time now, but I've never had the chance to check it out because I always get distracted by all the other awesome food choices downtown! 8:30 pm, right after the dinner rush! :D Order on the right side, and pay on the left! They even sell margaritas here lol! Chips & Guac 3/5 stars The chips were actually really good LOL, they were crispy, and slightly charred on the outside! But the chips were SO salty!! Seriously, I could still taste the salt on my tongue in the morning (even after brushing!) If they could adjust the salt level, I would definitely order these again!! Salsa & Guac 3/5 stars I'm no guac expert lol, so I thought it was pretty decent! The portion was quite large and more than enough for
First time at chipotles. Surprised it only has 50% positive reviews. My meal was delicious (had chicken salad with guava and chips). Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely return. Only negative thing was the price. Pretty overpriced for fast food! But Yummy none the less...
It was awesome first time at chipotle great service good food I would definitely recommend it if you like Mexican food.
The wait is over, Chipotle’s second location is now open! Located on the second floor where A&W used to be (I think), it is faces outside the mall and is behind Starbucks. For those that have never been to or heard of Chipotle before, Chipotle is a fast food restaurant chain based in the US that specializes in burritos. I’ve been to the Robson location of Chipotle a few times before, and in comparison the Metrotown location is smaller. Inside Chipotle Metrotown If you’ve never been to Chipotle before, you should give it a shot at least once. Every Chipotle works off the same process – it’s an assembly line where you get to pick what you want in your burrito and watch as it gets magically assembled in front of you. It’s like Subway for burritos, but with seemingly happier workers. A burrito costs $8.95 to start, allowing you to choose between steak, chicken, barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas and veggies – if you’re curious as to what goes in each ingredient you can check it out here . From there, you can go for the works – salsas, cheese, cilantro rice, beans, and just about anything else you’d want in a burrito except guacamole. If you want the guac, you’re going to have to fork out an extra $2.21 (worth it, it’s not a true Chipotle burrito without the guac). I had mine to go and brought it back to the office. Chicken is my go-to meat for these burritos. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but I’d take a Chipotle burrito over any of the food court options any day. Make sure to go early though if you’re planning to go for lunch – the line gets pretty long!
