Frozen yogurt with a variety of toppings!! Its a great place to hang out and enjoy a cold treat.
Luv this place! Love all the flavors. Only great things to say about this place! :)
The thing that I like about Menchie’s, compared to Pinkberry, is that it’s self-serve and you pick whatever toppings that you want. Of course, that always results in two problems… 1) you wind up paying more because you load up on toppings, and 2) the self-serve area is usually a bit messy from all of the other customers. After spending wayyyy too much time in traffic, we stopped off for some froyo – specifically, a mix of mango and peach froyo (although it tasted more like peach than mango).
Lively environment. I visited this frozen yogurt shop on a whim and didn't expect very much. It reminded me a lot of a similar shop, Qoola, but there was something more appealing about this restaurant. For starters, there were plenty of spots to sit down and eat. The staff also mentioned that they rotate their flavours every week. All of their flavours would appeal to anyone so I would highly recommend checking this place out.
Menchie's is a fairly new contender in the Frozen Yogurt game, and is up against some stiff competition! Menchie's concept is virtually identical to Qoola. The frozen yogurt is self serve, you just weigh, and pay! Menchie's is located in Highgate Plaza in Burnaby. For the longest time I thought it was "Munchie's" because, doesn't that just make more logical sense than Menchie's? Munchies, because you're munching on yogurt? haha I digress... Menchie's offers a lot of unique frozen yogurt and sorbet combinations! What differentiates them from Qoola is that they offer a lot more sorbet options, for those who are allergic to dairy or lactose intolerant. They even give you the option to combine two flavours in a swirl! I also like how their toppings are in clear acrylic boxes so you can see all the toppings. With Qoola, the toppings are covered with a lid that you can't see through so you have to read the label. You can also get your frozen yogurt with a waffle cone! I like how Menchie's i
This time I got a mix of honeydew melon and peach sorbet. Both were refreshing and mild with a smooth texture. They made a nice dessert because it was sweet, but not too heavy.
