Some of the best sandwiches ive ever had!! Perfect balance of ingredients and the buns are the perfect balance between soft and crunchy. Hot Philly is what made me write this review ahah sandwich game strong! There needs to be more locations!

The sandwiches are awesome and drooling with cheese. I loved the Palmer which is a combination of cherry iced tea and peach lemonade. Also, I would recommend to try the authentic mac and cheese.
The Mac and cheese is š„š„š„š„š„. Would defs recommend if you want a decadent dish. I tend to pair it with the kale salad so that they balance each other out. Either way, a nice addition to metro. Will say that the they are a bit overpriced, but what fancy soup and san place isn't?
Try the mac and cheese with pulled pork sandwich. Might sound weird to you but will taste so good. Worth the calories and your money! I would try more!!

Thanks to Sherman, a group of food bloggers and I were invited to a menu tasting at the new Chachiās located in the food court of Metropolis at Metrotown. Chachiās goal is to āmake mall food betterā and this is their first location in BC with plans to expand to other locations in BC. The focus is on sandwiches, but they also have a variety of salads and sides. All ingredients, including cheese, meats and breads are locally sourced. The bread is fresh from a bakery in Langley daily.
Sherman (Shermanās Food Adventures) was organizing a tasting for Chachiās at Metrotown and kindly invited me to come along. =). Chachiās is a chain restaurant from Calgary and the Metrotown location is their first location in BC. They are located in the food court and the sandwiches are better than expected considering that theyāre in the food court! Keep reading to find out which ones were my favourite!

Chachi's is one of the newest sandwich fare at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby. Chachi was founded by Derek Brock and Jason Cunnigham - founders of Jugo Juice back in 1998. After selling it's stakes to Quebec based MTY Food Group, the duo decided to focus all their attention on Chachi's Sandwich Bar in 2007. Franchises opened across Calgary. Metrotown is their first location in BC.
Chachi's offers a selection of sandwiches on ciabatta bread between $10 to $12, breakfast sandwiches, Mac n' Cheese, salads and sides like chips, pickles and pepperoni.
Mac n' Cheese: Comes in two different flavors (regular and spicy with Capicollo). The mac n' cheese is very cheesy and smooth. I particularly enjoyed the subtle heat of the spicy mac n' cheese with capicollo. This was one of my favorite items on the menu.
Hot Philly Sandwich: Rib steak with bell peppers, onions, jalapeno, garlic aioli, spicy mayo and provolone cheese. I like the rich, hearty flavors of the beef steak with the kick of jalapeno.
Breaky Sandwiches 4.50: Ham and Cheese on an English muffin much like McDonald's but slightly less greasy.
Clubbin' Sandwich: BTL sandwich with bacon, turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, garlic aioli, and spicy mayo. It is a good simple sandwich if you are not looking for something fancy.
Banh Mi: Beef brisket, asian marinade, pickled carrots, cilantro, jalapeno and garlic aioli. I was not a fan of this sandwich since the beef brisket was too saucey and overly sweet. There is not enough pickled carrots to keep the sandwich light and fresh. Skip this and go to a real Vietnamese restaurant if you craving a real Banh Mi.
Pork with Mac: Tender pulled pork, sweet chili BBQ sauce topped with mac n' cheese. This rich sandwich has a good mix of mac and pulled pork. If you are looking for comfort and a filling meal, this one's a winner!
Service was friendly and the food was good! I ordered the pork & mac and it was very unique. Never thought if having mac & cheese in a sandwish but they pulled it off pretty well. I would try other things they have offered their.
I've been seeing lots of pictures on instagram of this place and I was excited to try it out. I ordered the Italian sandwich, Mac & cheese and cherry iced tea. The Mac & cheese reminded me of the frozen ones you buy from the grocery store, but it was still good. The cherry iced tea was delicious, but I didn't taste any cherry flavour. Now the sandwich... It was so tasty!! This was definitely the star of my whole meal. I gave my mother some of the sandwich and she asked for seconds... And she never asks for seconds. My total came out to $18, which is very pricey. Next time I would just get the sandwich.. And maybe try their pickles...
Aiming to āmake mall food betterā, Chachiās opened up their first BC location at Metropolis at Metrotown in the food court last month. Their menu is full of fresh sandwiches and salads, all made from locally-sourced ingredients. Chachiās roster of local suppliers includes Arctic Meats, Valbella, Nossack, Alberta Cheese, and Yen Bros.
I had the opportunity to attend a tasting event for the newly opened sandwich chain, Chachiās, in the Metrotown food court. I am a huge fan of delicious sandwiches so I was pretty excited to see what this place was about. Chachiās has a large menu but you also have the option to build your own sandwich. They are seriously stepping up the game for food court options. I was very impressed with the quality and flavours they were able to achieve in their sandwiches. To make good food, you need to start with good ingredients. I am so happy to see them seeking out what is available to them in the community. I will definitely come here again to refuel when I am shopping in Metrotown.
Latest sandwich chain to come to Vancouver and this time inside Metrotownās foodcourt in Burnaby. I was invited to taste their menu of sandwiches, soups and other goodies. Spread of the yummies I got to taste!. The spicy macā and cheese w/ capicollo $5.5 was delicious, the salty capicollo with the creamy and spicy mac made for such a satisfying bite! These were called āDill Chipsā they had a sweet flavour to it with a bit of sourness from the dill. I loved the crunch you get from each chip.
A new food court stall at Metrotown is trying toĀ change the culture of mall food byĀ making it better and more gourmet. Ā Hailing from Alberta, newly opened Chachiās is a Manhattan-style sandwich shop that serves sandwiches and salads, made with meat and cheese which areĀ locally sourced. Ā I was invited to Chachiās for a menu tasting last week where I sampled a few of their popular items.
I finally tried the sandwiches at Chachis and I loved it. i work in the metrotown office tower and couple of my co-workers recommended this place. I usually don't eat at the food court but I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Meat ball and it had generous quantity of meat and cheese. The bun they use is a regular ciabatta but the taste and texture is superb.One of the best buns I've had. I also had the cherry ice tea and the jalapeƱo chips. The ice tea was awesome and I was told its made in house. It had a mild cherry flavour but not too strong. I could taste the ice tea and the cherry flavour. The chips were just ok, nothing special, they were normal kettle cooked chips. Overall a great meal. It cost around $16 but it was worth it. Nice to see such place open up in food court at metrotown.

It is not hard to spot Chachiās at Metropolis food court at Metrotown. TheĀ latest food joint stands out with its tastefully designed space and unique decors, as well as their approach on food creation with the motto āchanging mall food, making it better and gourmetā. I was impressed when I saw the preparation of their gourmet sandwiches and saladsĀ at a spotless station, equipped with their state-of-the-art stainless steel specialĀ appliances. And the food was made with fresh vegetables, Ā along with other qualityĀ ingredients such as locallyĀ sourced meats, artisan breads, and craftsman cheeses. And I was really digging the bread! Ā Comparing their bread to Meat & Breadās, I actually prefer theirs because it has a nearly perfect texture, Ā as I always find the one at Meat & Bread a little too hard to bite into.
And my first bite was on the Hot Philly ($12), a mouth full of rib steak, bell peppers, onion, jalapeno-provolone, garlic aioli and spicy mayo. I loved the succulent steak, the kick from jalapeno and the warm creaminess from melted provolone, all working quite well together. And I dare to say it was one of the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches I have ever had.
Great place in metrotown. Loved the hot philly and lemonade. Lots of meat and very well made. The service was excellent. Will be going back for trying more stuff.
Chachi's is the new addition in Metrotown food court. It's different than the usual fare we expect at any food court. Their menu includes gourmet sandwiches and salads which are made with fresh and real ingredients. The Cali was fabulous, chicken, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, house made guac, romaine and tomatoes. I must admit that I was surprised by the quality of the sandwich. The bun was excellent. I also tried the cherry ice tea and it was great. I was hesitant that it might taste like cough syrup but I'm glad I bought it. Overall a great place. The prices tend to be a little higher considering that there are no combos. But it's the price you pay for quality. Next time I'm trying the Mac'n cheese and hot Philly steak sandwich. Looks promising.
Great Sandwich place, tried the Cajun chicken, it was well seasoned and had good amount of cheddar cheese along with lettuce and tomato. Great tasting sandwich. I also tried the mac'n cheese and it was the best I've had so far. The staff was very welcoming and asked me about drinks. They even gave me a sample of the lemonade which i loved. The lemonade had vanilla and bourbon flavour, pretty unique. Definitely a must try place if you are in Metrotown.

Spicy Mac n' Cheese with Capicollo is very cheesy, plus the capicollo added the right amount of spice.
Hot Philly Sandwich has rib steak, bell peppers, onion, jalapeno, provolone, garlic aioli and spicy mayo. Nice and meaty.
Pork with Mac sandwich has pulled pork, sweet chili BBQ sauce, and then slathered with mac n' cheese. This is total comfort food.
