I was shopping around the market crossing area. My girlfriend wanted to take a break and give our doggie a snack. We were very surprised to find out how dog friendly this location is.
If your a dog owner, you can bring your dog into winners and petsmart while you shop. Across the street nandos has a very open patio where you can tie your dog.
I got the classic nandos peri chicken. It's delicious. My girlfriend got the salad add chicken... Pretty pricey surprisingly. The staff had made mistakes on our orders but they do take of of them right away. It's not mind blowing food but the chicken is a must try.
It was my first time eating at Nando's. I tried just the chicken leg which is priced at $8. That's pretty steep. It was perfectly grilled and the sauce was the best part. Will I be back? Maybe only with a group and order the whole chicken.
My experience at this Nando's location yesterday has moved me to write my first ever restaurant review. I visit maybe once every month but after this last visit I may be stopping by more often. I'm a fan of their flavourful chicken and wanted to pick up a quick, easy dinner. Everything was fine until I got home and unpacked my food. I had ordered 2 double legs, 2 mashed potatoes, and 1 chicken livers with Portuguese bun. My quick assessment was that I was missing one mashed potato and the chicken livers. Turns out I had mistaken the box of livers for mashed potatoes. So, in fact, I was missing 2 mashed potatoes. Usually I wouldn't go back to correct my order but I felt like enough was missing (at the time I thought I was missing the livers - hey, their tasty, what can I say?) that I decided to return. By the time I got back about a half hour had passed. A woman I had seen waiting tables earlier saw me in line with my bag only seconds after I walked in and asked if I needed help. I told her about the missing items. She was immediately apologetic and acted quickly to rectify the situation. She later told me her name was Angie and I think she may have been the manager. After checking my order with their records she came back and offered to make things right. I was impressed that she offered to let me decide what I needed in order to fix the error. But I just wanted a fresh and complete order. Angie also offered me something to drink a couple of times but I declined. When she brought me my fresh order she also handed me a FULL REPAYMENT for my meal. I was shocked and she once again said she wanted to make things right. Angie was amazing! I'm so impressed with how she handled the situation and that she went above and beyond to rectify the mistake.
Angie is the best!
Note: this location has changed hands several times in the past 6 years since I moved to Burnaby. I agree with past reviews that this location often seemed empty but yesterday the restaurant was absolutely buzzing with customers both dining in and taking out. There was a constant lineup both times I went in. Quite a turnaround, I must say. Obviously the latest owners are doing things right. The chicken, it should be noted, was delicious. 👌🏼
Good spicy chicken. Rainbow crab asked to go here a few months ago, so we went. The servers are all nice and helpful. Rainbow crab always gets the chicken sandwich medium spice with fries. She love this.
I got the half chicken dinner. I get the wedge fries and really like them. I am new to being able to eat any heat, so I get the lemon herb version, and that is my comfort level for heat with some of the garlic sauce for dipping. The chicken is moist, with amazing flavor, and a good char. We will keep going back for sure.
Awesome food awesome service! Definitely coming back!
Best Nando's. Of all the Nando's in the lower mainland, this is the best franchise. The chicken is always juicy and the meat is never burnt... plus the salads are always fresh and crisp.
The south Burnaby franchise where I had my first ever Nando’s meal is in a shopping area along Marine Way, which bears a striking similarity to the commercial area known as South Edmonton Common in the provincial capital of Alberta. Kind of lost amid the
We found out how different Nando’s is from KFC and Church’s and that it is not quite the fast food the way we know it. Well, it is like a cross between fast food and slow food is how I would describe it. You place your orders at the fastfood style counter
