Ive lived in the area for years and just now stumbled across this hidden gem. Food is amazing and fresh (the falafel is worth the wait!) And the portions are beyond generous! Abdul is awesome and always gives great service!
Great sauce on the wrap. Just beware that medium has some good kick and hot is really spicy.
BEST LAMB WRAP I'VE HAD IN VANCITY. Small place in Metrotown, barely no parking but call ahead and double park real quick. The lamb wrap are the BEST. I eat here at least twice a month!
My first taste of Middle Eastern food *LOVE IT*. I always saw this place when i was a kid going to the card store in Crystal mall until years later i decided to try the place out and man this is the BEST middle eastern food i've ever tasted! part of the reason i decided to try this place out was because i watched an episode of Gundam Seed as a kid and saw that they were eating donar kebabs. shawarma/kebabs are they kinda the same? not sure but the point is this place you gotta try out!
also note of all the times i've been there, i've been served by two different workers. one is a really friendly guy who greets all his customer; i always tip him and then there's this other guy who always does not seem to be in a happy mood. only been served by him once.
A Hidden Gem. Being a vegan, I've obviously only tried the veggie options, but Abdul's is ridiculously good. They make their falafel in house and it's the best I've had in Metro Vancouver. Just a warning though... Their food can be quite spicy!
My Favourite Shawarma/Wraps Place. We come here whenever we have a craving for wraps/shawarma. Love the special 'sauce' he puts in them - deliciously combined with the meat and veggies. So far, every time we went, the meat was never too dried, like many places. We like the chicken the best. For low-tolerance spice-eaters like one of us, it's good that there's a choice of mild to hot. Hummous is always good. Price-wise - we do think it is a little on the high-side, however.
Pretty much the BEST EVER. I regularly order the hummus or the falafel wrap and both are really, really good. Go before 3pm and Abdul will usually be there- he makes them the best!!!!
Would definitely recommend- not a fancy place, but the food is excellent and definitely worth going for.
Beef Shawarma Wrap with Extra Hot Sauce, Please!. This place is my first stop, every time I visit Vancouver. I usually have to wait 15-20 minutes to place an order, but it's worth the wait.
Love the chicken shawarma platter!!!!. I love Abdul's chicken shawarma platter. I have come to be quite a connoisseur kebab dishes (sorry if this is not perfectly correct terminology) and their chicken platter is one of the best.
All the sides are quite good and the portion is enormous. But because of that, it is a bit more pricy than other places. Personally, I would rather pay a bit less and take out a smaller amount of food because I really don't need that much food.
Ask for more hot sauce for your flat bread. It will blow you away (literally)...

Absolutely off the hook!!! Hands down the best shwarma in the GVRD! And his tabouleh is just how good tabouleh should taste, classic middle eastern done with flair. Definetly ask for the garlic sauce, the flavor sensation is worth the breath afterwards :)
The best Shwarma outside of the Middle East. Love this place. No smiles, no fuss, just great food. Be prepared to wait, Abdul is a one man show.
Great Place. This is the best Halal Middle Eastern BBQ in the greater Vancouver area...bar none. Abdul's attention to detail and quality borders on the obsessive... try the mixed wrap with parsley instead of lettuce for a more authentic taste. careful with the heat: hot does mean hot here.
Abdul's BBQ has been hailed as having the best Halal Meat in all of Greater Vancouver! They have a variety of sharwarma wraps, fafalel wraps, as well as sharwarma and fafalel plates with rice, salad, and hummus! Abdul served me personally, and he was all smiles and very friendly! You can tell he really cares about his business! Tip: It's best to go in the morning, while the meat is still moist! It tends to get drier as the day progresses. Lamb Wrap 3.5/5 stars This wrap was huge! The lamb meat was moist and smokey, with the spices being very pungent. It was also packed with a ton of fresh vegetables, which I really appreciated. The best part was definitely the spicy sauce! I wish there was more sauce, because it wasn't very evenly distributed and there wasn't enough for the entire the wrap.
Lo Pan ordered up the falafel plate and slurped down 4 of the best balls in the city. The accompanying tabouleh, slaw and veggies were very well prepared and the rice was fresh and nicely soaked up the ball juices and creamy white sauce. The hummus was the only week link as it was strangely devoid of any chickpea flavor and basically tasted only of vinegar. The tahini and hot sauce are served on a pita on the side. In these sauces is where a lot of Abdul's uniqueness lies. The tahini is an addiciting blend of creamy sesame with loads of garlic and cumin. Take some of the saucy pita and a chunk of ball for a truly glorious bite.
