Review Butchers Block Bbq - Burnaby

Denny Hui
We decided to have BBQ for our New Years dinner and based on the reviews, tried Butchers Block. We tried the Carnivore Platter. We had 6 starving mouths to feed. We'll the Platter was stunning! More than enough protein for everyone. And we still have left overs. Everyone's favorite was the beef brisket and ribs. But all the meats were tasty and juicy. Platter came with purple coleslaw, macaroni salad, side of fries and beans. The beans were a hit as well. Platter also came with corn bread. That was a bit dry but what corn bread isn't? Must try for big party's.

Has the BBQ chicken and beef brisket. It is amazing! The brisket was so tender and seasoned to perfection. The BBQ sauce has a bit of kick and delicious. The BBQ chicken was cooked to perfection and juicy like no other. A definite must try location if you ask me.

Welcomed in by the friendly Server. Ordered a platter with brisket and pulled pork and.a side.order.of onion rings. The brisket was delicious and the BBQ sauce is very good! I was pleased with the food and service, I will come back again!

Great BBQ! I tried this place back in 2020 and thought it was average but I tried it again recently and was pleasantly surprised as it had improved a lot. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with the bbq beans and it was great. The meat was moist and flavorful and the portion size was pretty good for the price. If I was craving BBQ I would definitely come back here again!

Small restaurant with a myriad of meat cuts. Chicken, brisket, pulled pork, belly bites, etc. They have beers on tap and special cocktails as well. Service was very friendly and efficient. Free 1 hr street parking out in front. Food was good, make sure to ask your fries well done as ours were a bit undercooked!

Its a complete bbq meat shop. It serves dine in and take out not only for local residents of burnaby but others who order online on uber and skip the dishes as well. Special deals like bottomless lemonade and iced tea is available in the afternoon for dine in customers. Platters are great way to taste the meats of your choice. We ordered bbq pulled pork and grilled chicken with the side of coleslaw salad , corn bread and bowl of beans. Everything was super delicious. So, if you are not hungry then this would be sufficient for two people else you can order two platters for a tummy full meal. All kinds of Sandwiches are also available with chicken, beef , pork or fish. Small bar with mainly beer and wine options. Nothing fancy though. Would like to go again and try some more.

The food is just amazing, coleslaw to the beef brisket, it’s so flavoured. Brisket is not dried. Not many BBQ places around but this has to be it. Service is great too. This reminds me of the south and how BBQ should be.

I miss Tony Roma's - NOT! Butchers Block BBQ is the best place for ribs in Metro Vancouver! The ribs melt into your mouth. I haven't experienced good ribs like this for ages. Good service, fair price; highly recommended!
Alicia Su
Amazing beef brisket makes me have to come back again as soon as I can. And perfect bbq sauce in town. Though the ribs tasted not hot enough. Otherwise, it's the best
Emmanuel Osorio
The worst bbq in the world probably! unless you like your bbq dry. Expensive for what it is, and tasteless.
Paul Van Buekenhout
The brisket and the sausage were excellent. Try the baked beans, they are cooked with lots of meat.

I am from Virginia. The pulled pork is authentic. The hand chopped burger is my go to, but the turkey legs that they have been doing are the bomb!! Great, friendly service. Very lucky to have this gem in North Burnaby.

Awesome food, love the BBQ sauce, best pulled pork I've ever had. Server May was outstanding! Friendly, efficient, kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed - all with a warm smile. Thanks May!

Great service highly recommended from my co workers at 1800 Got Junk , the owner was super friendly nice food came out in 15 min we did not no what to order so he recommended stuff and it was a great experience. Will be going back again.

I would gladly give them 5 stars, but the menu says they only smoke the brisket overnight, and I can really tell. I have had spectacular BBQ across the line, and although I love each meal at Butcher's Block...it just isn't quite the exquisite fall apart tender, long, slow, smoke I would want weekly. There are some bites of brilliance and near-perfection. This is not meant as a criticism - they probably have limitations due to location. Just my personal taste. I do greatly enjoy their food and look forward to going every time. Try it and see!

Best brisket sandwich in town.

Okay so we have been here twice now. My husband and I love it! I am positive if we lived in the city of Vancouver we would frequent so much more. I look forward to my next visit!

Delicious. Just delicious.

Absolutely Fabulous! I went here on my wife’s suggestion due to my affinity for smoked meats and this place is spot on. The brisket and pulled pork are not overly salty while still being flavourful and juicy, and the Barbecue Sauce finishes it off perfectly. Their Chicken and Italian Sausage are equally wonderful. I also ordered a side of Onion Rings and they included some sauce to dip them in and it was warm. Attention to a small detail like the flavour enhancement of warm, not cold from the fridge, Barbecue dipping sauce shows their passion for the food they make. Staff are friendly and attentive and ready to answer any questions you have in a polite manor. I will absolutely be returning...and I’m bringing friends.

We tried to come here on Monday, but it was closed. We were not busy today, so we stopped by. We both chose to order 2 meat plates, I ordered the sausage and brisket and the husband ordered the chicken and pulled pork with a side of onion rings. The meat was nice and juicy and lots of flavours. The BBQ sauce was warm as well. We will be back.

PULLED PORK SANDWICH! Must try!! Always order to go order and they are very consistent. Good amount of fries, just a lil bit less of onion rings if you order combo. But in general very good experience.
Matt
Used skip to get delivery. I ordered the bbq combo with pulled pork and brisket and a side of the pasta salad. The pork was sweet and tender, the briskit was juicy and delicious and that pasta salad was a flavorful creamy delight. All served on a bed of fries that kept their crispiness and were salted to perfection. Steep at $30( with tip) for 1 but well worth it and I will definatley be a regular.

The pulled pork/bbq chicken combo was on my menu for lunch it was very delicious,OMG!!! the portion was quite hardy they also packed a SH*T amount of fries on the plate can anyone say "FOOD CHALLENGE " the food and service was a solid 7.5 out of 10 i would recommend this place
TheHappySloths
Definitely not the best BBQ place in town but their stuff is pretty good, especially given that there aren't a lot of BBQ places in the neighborhood. Tried the pulled pork and ribs, both are well cooked and not overly sweet. Good service and friendly staff.

Decent BBQ joint. Had the daily special with 2 different meats. The ribs were good, smoky and sticky but weren't very meaty unfortunately. I also had a rib end that was very dried out. All in all however the food was a nice change of pace. I will never complain about smoked meats!

I always see this place across the street everytime I go for ice cream at Glenburn Soda. Finally got the chance to try it.<br/><br/>It was delicious and I loved it. Enjoyed it much more than Memphis Blues.<br/><br/>My only regret was not getting their ribs. Sitting at the table beside the kitchen, we saw all the orders ahead of us... and boy did those ribs look deadly. Will definitely be coming back to try those next time!

Was good from what I can remember. I always smell it when I'm in the area and wish I was going to eat there. Have had friends ask me what that amazing smell is and I always show them the BBQ restaurant!! Cannot wait to go back!!!

Must have caught them on an off day. No customer service skills...lady was super cold to me and my girl. Ran out of beer mid-way through pouring a pint...awful service. I'm hoping it was just a one-off.<br/><br/>Burger was nothing special. Patty was dry and burnt, Fries were lukewarm and not crispy. Overall, we put this on our "never going back" list. <br/><br/>It's a shame, I heard so many good things about it.
Cecilia
Service is great. The ribs are juicy and meaty. I hate getting ribs that are mostly fat and bone. The burgers are also delicious, although I wish they werent so pricy.

More burgers than bbq. I'm a big barbeque fan, or should I say brisket addict. The menu here is more geared toward sandwiches, not bbq "plates". There is a bbq platter that gives you the choice of 2 meats, plus fries and a side. I only want brisket, so I order a platter with brisket & brisket as my meats. Told double meat is not allowed. Thought it might have been because of the day. Maybe running low on brisket? No. This is their standard policy. Would they stop me from ordering 2 brisket sandwiches? I was told no. Apparently can order sides of meats as well, though not clearly apparent from menu.<br/><br/>This boggles my mind. The point of business is to sell your goods. Denying a paying customer what they want, and you are able to provide, is not a solid business strategy. I had been here a few times and enjoyed their brisket, but will probably be going elsewhere for it from now on.<br/><br/>I ordered a burger in protest and found it ok. Not great. Bbq sandwich probably would have been better. My twice a week brisket binges will be bought at Memphos Blues from now on.<br/><br/>Note - the wait staff were always polite and professional even in the face of my self righteous whining about the deceptiveness of not having a "no double meat" disclaimer on the menu. This edict comes from above

So I was in need for a new burger joint... this gives me a good opportunity to try new places around the area. My good friends brother recommended Burgers ETC...We decided to give it a try.

BBQ sample poor value for the price. Service 3/5 Beer selection 4/5 Food 3/5<br/>Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a neighbour. We were a party of six. The burger was considered pretty good: the wings were okay. Unfortunately, our party felt that the BBQ sampler was overpriced for the quantity of food provided. The sampler, a minimum of 2 people per order was a charge of $22.95/person. We asked for enough to feed three. When the food arrived, our group thought that it seemed like a small order to be a sample platter for 3. The food proved to be tasty but we were concerned about the quantity for the price. As we were leaving the restaurant, we noticed that a pair of restaurant goers were having the platter and it looked like they had the same amount of food on their platter as compared to our sampler platter for 3. This left a bad taste in our mouths as we ended up paying $69 for our platter to receive the same amount of food that another couple paid $46 for. <br/> <br/>If you do end up going here for a meal, we recommend sticking with the burgers or try the combo platter; you get a choice of 2 BBQ items with a side and fries and that was a good quantity of food for the price. <br/>We probably will not be returning since we felt we were not treated fairly on the price of the food.

Hidden Gem. Was looking for something different and scanned Urbanspoon and decided to give this place a try. We are glad we did. Small place and if you arrive during meal hours expect to wait. We got there early and sat down right away. We ordered rib combo with beef brisket. It came with fries and baked beans. My gal had the mushroom cheese burger. The orders only took about 15 minutes and was worth it. There was to go orders being handled at the same time and it didn't make a difference. The ribs were tasty and just the right amount of spice and crispness. The brisket was very tasty and very tender. Fries and beans were all good. My gals burger was stacked and she seemed to enjoy the beef burger. With a lemon aid and a root beer, the bill was $37. Service was just fine and I have no complaints. We will be back again.

Ate here while waiting for traffic problems on the Ironworkers Bridge to die down a little. <br/><br/>Had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. It was huge and filling. The pulled pork was moist and tender, with a perfect balance of smoke and spice. <br/><br/>I got to Southern BBQ competitions as a certified judge and I can honestly say that these guys/girls should form a team and compete. <br/><br/>The numerous articles and accolades proudly displayed at the front entrance also prove why this little smokehouse is the real deal. <br/><br/>Highly recommend.

Good Value, But Food Could Be Better. The restaurant gave generous portions and it was pretty good value. Taste wise, although the ribs were tender it needed more seasoning and sauces as it tasted a bit plain. The beef brisket was near perfect: tender, juicy, and flavourful. However, the sides have a lot of room for improvement as I found them to be quite bland. The combo platter also came with fries in addition to the 2 sides. The fries were mediocore with some burnt and over done.<br/>Find out more on my personal food blog! http://eat-drink-relax.weebly.com/

Was nit impressed with my order. I was hungry and looking for a place to eat. Saw the sign and stopped in.<br/>Ordered the Sausages on a Bun and was not impressed. 2 huge sausages that are oversized for the soft Burger bun they are served on. Take a bite and everything falls out. Strike 1. Why not just put 1 sausage on the bun and cut the friggin thing in half?<br/><br/>The Sausage was bland and chunky fatty. the sausages were also undercooked. Strike 2 .I think they`re the cheap chunky shrapnel kind of sausage. Just Gross<br/><br/>The Macaroni salad was at par with KFC. Strike 3 Is it that difficult to make a decent Macaroni Salad? Obviously for them it is.<br/><br/>So I would say I got the ETC..at Burgers etc

Stopped by for lunch with a friend, only to have the waitress try to stick us in a back corner. We asked to be seated at a table close to the front only to be told that they " may" have a table of four come in and couldn't give us the table. Sorry, but possible customers does not cut it...I will never be back! Your waitress needs to have a lesson in customer service, because you have just lost two families who will go elsewhere.

Things have changed .. I ordered the chicken/rib combo and got one very dry drumstick and two dry ribs slathered in sauce. ($18bucks) My husband got the burger and thought it was good. They say they deliver but don't believe it. Won't be back for BBQ but maybe for burgers.

Came on a Sat evening around 5:30pm, first time. Tried the Ect sampler for $40 but wasn't impressed, only liked the ribs and pulled pork. Side dishes of corn, beans, and coleslaw was good but all in all not worth it. Saw everyone else order burgers so might do that next time if I ever come back.

Local BBQ. We finally had a chance to try out Burgers Etc today. Funnily enough rainbow crab did not try a burger. She had the smothered fries with pulled pork. She loved it, she ate every french fry on her plate and for someone who does not love bbq sauce she raved. It is a sweeter, tomato based sauce with a good kick to it. <br/>I had the combo, which happen to be on sale! 13.99$ for 2 meats fries and coleslaw.( The usual price is 16.99$. <br/> I got pork ribs and beef brisket. I really enjoyed it. I too loved this sauce. ( I liked this sauce better than the sauce at Hog Shack) But I like the brisket at Hog Shack better. The ribs were spareribs, the meat came off the bone, and had a great bark and good chew to them. <br/>We will go back for sure, and we both want to try the burgers.

Great Ribs. Went there last Saturday, friendly staff and good food, had the ribs and pork both were excellent. my wife had the veggie Burger and she enjoyed it too<br/><br/>we will be back for sure, thanks

One of my favourite burgers :)<br/>I'll have to start writing these things from a laptop so that I can include pics of the food.<br/>Anyways, it's a great bordering on perfect, burger experience. Why not perfect? There is a slight resistance on the tear off. The bun is not as easy a bite as the ingredients within.<br/>When a burger is jacked full of fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onion goodness, I like for the stack to stay put and not travel outside of the bun. A toasting to the bun probably would have created the rough surface texture needed to contain all the ingredients. <br/>The meat is fantastic! Plenty of it and you choose your doneness.<br/>Medium rare please!<br/>The service as always is just right. The hostess who's been there for quite some time has always been a pleasure to deal with. The owners, a husband and wife team really have this place running well.<br/>Keep up the good work and I will always return :)

Awesome Food!. Visting Vancouver and a couple of friends took me out for dinner here. Place was small, but the food was great. I ordered the Smoked Spicy Sausage Burger. To me it was not spicy, but it was still good! Big portions! Did not even finish and had to take it home. One of my friend ordered the combo platter and his prtion was big as well. The other guy ordered the beef brisket burger and that looked amazing as well. Would love to try other items on the menu if I ever visit Vancouver again.

Worst pulled pork ever! Pulled pork was dry and part of it was cold. Seems like it was re-warm in a microwave. Told the server and all she said was sorry, didn't offer to replace or not charge me (I had 5 bites at most!!)

Favourite burger joint. Probably my favourite burgers in the city. Huge and tasty. Good ribs too. Would probably eat there every other day if I could afford it.

Overrated. I tried this place a few times because of all the hype, but it consistently disappointed.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. The tables are often sticky, and they're crammed close together. Plastic cups for lukewarm water. The staff varies, a couple times they were very friendly, other times they were rushed and brusque.<br/><br/>The sides are all terrible. The corn nibblets were watery, the potato salad had a strange aftertaste and too much vinegar, the salad had less than crisp lettuce with tasteless dressing. The only edible side is the fries, but they're nothing special as fries go.

A New Favorite. My wife and I stopped by on the way back from Vancouver last Sunday.<br/>While we had originally intended on trying out the Red-Wagon for brunch and balked at the line-up (try again next weekend yum), discovering Burgers Etc was a definite gift.<br/><br/>We ordered their smoked sausage appetizer and two of their specialty burgers with sides of fries and beans.<br/>The appy arrived and we were very impressed - both by the sweet-smokey homemade sauce and the quality of the meat - notably provided by one of their local Bby butchers. The burgers, beans and rest of our meal was similarly outstanding in both presentation, texture, freshness and taste.<br/><br/>The decor, service and meal were truly outstanding and from our perspective, a true reflection of what can be done when fresh local food is prepared by talented neighbourhood chefs. We will definitely be making this one of our reguular haunts as well as both bringing our friends and recommending to others.

Pulled Pork. Went to Burgers Etc. with a couple of friends and got the pulled pork sandwich. It was very reasonably priced and i definitely got my money's worth. You could tell by the taste that the pulled pork was definitely prepared the way it should be! The side of coleslaw wasn't very flavourful, but all in all, it was a great meal.

Not good any longer. Used to be alright ....although they had the balls to charge 10 dollars for a Veg patty from Sysco/Costco last time I got take-out which was entirely tasteless other than processed sodium. That's outrageous. Fries were very soggy and didn't taste fresh. I'm afraid I won't be back again.<br/><br/><br/>-----26 Jun, 2011-----<br/><br/>Excellent food, cheery service and such a neat little restaurant.. Everything here was pretty satisfactory, besides that factory tasting, spongy bun. Your patties deserve a little better! Improve the bun, and we will surely come back! I think charging a dollar for a few sauteed onions is pushing it too, though. Anyway, overall it is certainly a great option with a very casual, upbeat atmosphere in the Heights! Everyone there seems to be having a good time!

Terrible, Frozen, Tasteless Food. I went today for the very first time to Burgers Etc. I don't have any problems with decor, or service. The staff is nice enough, and the place is a run-of-the-mill burger joint that touts itself a BBQ restaurant. <br/><br/>What I do have a problem with is the dismal quality of food served.<br/><br/>Numerous reviews tout this to be THE place for burgers. Yet, there I was sitting, eating a tasteless, obviously defrosted patty that was dry and had that lovely cardboard flavour to it. <br/><br/>I have not eaten such an unremarkable piece of meat in a long time. Paying over $12 for a mediocre, dry and tasteless burger + a cup of coffee just seems inexcusable. <br/><br/>Will never go again.

Crunchy onions and additional cost for cheese??. So my boyfriend convinced me to try this restaurant. <br/>When we first arrived and were seated by the host, she listed off all of the items they were out of for the evening... soup, coleslaw....<br/><br/>Since the title of the joint is called BURGERS etc bbq house, I was expecting a wide variety of saucy burger options. However, THEY ONLY SERVE ONE BURGER. And cheese is an ADDITIONAL cost!! Also, french fries as a included side COST EXTRA.<br/><br/>I also attempted to order a chocolate milk shake, but our waitress/host forgot to mention they were out of chocolate ice cream too.<br/>:(<br/><br/>Not only was I disappointed in the limited menu, but the service and atmosphere were unsatisfactory. Our waitress was rushing us while we were eating, and even turned a couple away, even though they weren't closing for another 25 minutes. It was snobbish and unwelcoming. <br/><br/>However, the place seemed to get good business with many to go orders.<br/><br/>The good news is that the onions were crunchy, and the burger was great (ask to keep the mayo on the light side)<br/><br/>But even the mints sucked.<br/>However, if you want a good $9 burger and you don't care about the atmosphere..GO FOR IT!<br/>I'm sad to say that I definitely won't be returning :(

Oh god, the ribs. Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere in this cubbyhole of a restaurant with amazing service staff. Five stars

They say, it's Top 10 in Vancouver.. If so, this restaurant would be the last one of the list. The burgers was between ok and good, but I for sure will not go again.

Vege Option. I only ever get the veggie burger and fries: very tasty and the option of extra toppings is a great bonus. It would be great if they could do fish burgers!

This is a great place, we go here often. They really understand proper BBQ. I first started going here because they had great burgers, but their pulled pork or beef brisket sandwiches are fantastic! The sides are good too, I feel pretty satisfied when I get good coleslaw with my sandwich. Consistently excellent food and friendly service.

Meat yes, staff yes, sides no. We'd been hearing about this place since moving to the area. Last Saturday we wanted something quick, good, and moderately priced, so away we went.<br/><br/>First of all, the staff - loved them! For a place that serves most of their meals in red plastic baskets, the staff was great! They checked on us without hovering, made sure we had whatever we wanted, and when I asked about our waitresses' accent, had a lovely chat that wasn't too short, wasn't too long, and generally made us feel as if she was happy to have talked to us. The guys doing the cooking were just as personable. We definitely go places for the food, but given the scarcity of great service in the GVRD, it's always high priority for us. <br/><br/>Next, the meat. This is definitely the reason to go here. The prices were decent, and my husband had the rib/chicken wing combo. The BBQ sauce definitely tasted hand-made, and although I generally don't like the taste of 'smoke' in a BBQ sauce, this one had such a good balance of tanginess to sweet to tomato that I was happy to overlook the smoked taste. Mr. Man (my husband) thought it was top-notch. At least, that's what I deduced from his "Can't talk.....eating......" response. The wings were grilled, and I actually stole 2 of them, which is 1 more than normal. The ribs weren't overcooked, were nice and tender, and didn't try to make up for cooking mishaps by smothering them in sauce. <br/><br/>I wasn't terribly hungry, and opted for the poutine, since I have heavy vegetarian tendencies and really can't be bothered with all the chewing that meat takes! This was less exciting. The fries were frozen (no fresh-cooked taste or texture), and the toppings were ok, but nothing spectacular, with the whole thing being a little soggier and blander than I like. Mind you, there was certainly enough of it - we both had some, and there was still some to take home. The sides with Mr. Man's meal were the fried mushrooms and potato salad. The mushrooms were good (if a titch small), and the potato salad was a bit bland for my taste. I was hoping for the same savoury vs tangy flavour combo as the BBQ sauce, but this was more mayo and less zip than I like.<br/><br/>That being said, will we go back? HellsYa. We walked out of there full, happy, and spent under $40 including a drink each and a 25% tip. The BBQ sauce alone will be enough to pull me over to the chicken wing contingent for out next trip, and we'll see what Mr. Man thinks of the burgers. I'll keep you posted.

As the name says.... Good food, fast service...the only complaint is that they do not accept credit cards. Cash or debit only! Other than that, great place.

Burger Time. So if you click on the icon for "Vancouver Slop's Best Eats of the City" then you will see that I am trying to find the best burger in the city this month. These challenges may change if my double chin comes back and my face gets round. I ll try the PX 90 to offset this.<br/><br/>So this place has been rated as one of the best burgers in the lower mainland by CTV viewers, I have yet to see that published anywhere but the Burger-etc site but I will give them the benefit of the doubt.<br/><br/>I ordered the burger added mozza cheese and bacon. The burger was good but far from amazing. The bun was tasty, meat was good (ordered medium well), and the vegetables were tasty, the bacon was a little over cooked and dry but added a nice taste to the overall package. Fries were satisfactory, but not much to write about so I won't.<br/><br/>Since this is a battle, all in all, it was a good burger but I do not think it will stack up highly against the competition. Numerical rating about 7.5 out of 10. Price 9.95 plus a dollar for the cheese and another dollar for the bacon.<br/><br/>Burgers Etc<br/>4091 Hastings Street<br/>Burnaby, BC<br/>http://www.burgers-etc.com/<br/><br/>pictures on www.vancouverslop.com

This is a local and neighbourhood favourite, well known for their pulled pork sandwich specials and alcoholic ice cream milkshakes.

The patty tastes juicy, fresh and delicious. As for the perfectly cooked fried egg, the yolk runs down the burger but does not seep through to the very bottom of the bun.

We went in search for a restaurant that serves barbecue meats at the caliber of "Memphis Blues" (insert link), but at a fraction of their prices. A place where we could get quality barbecue all year round and not go broke over it. A google search popped up "Burgers Etc;" and off we went to give it a try. It is a small shop along Hastings, in Burnaby. Their fiery logo is what attracts your attention, a three coloured fire on the window and one on the awning. Inside the shop is pretty standard. You seat yourselves, servers take your order, and food is brought to your table.   Their menu is classic bbq style. Meats in platters with sides or meat in buns with fries. And if you don't like any of the regulars, craft your own burger with your choice of protein, toppings, and condiments. Or if that is too much work rely on their list of customer favourites that includes a burger with mozzarella and pineapple and one with mushroom and sautéed onions.   The best part is they also offer milkshake
Vancouver's Best Burger
It's a BBQ house, so you can't go wrong. It's a smaller sized joint with great jazz decor adorning the walls and a laid back atmosphere. I quite enjoyed just sitting by the window watching people pass by, killing time until the burger came at which point I shut everything else off and submitted to my primal instincts.<br/>

Nice, cozy little restaurant; friendly staff; quick service. Can be full at lunch time – be prepared to take out. This is not fast food – they take their time and its worth the wait !

Overall, I found Burger Etc’s Burger was tasty as I thought each component of the burger made an impact.

The burger overall did not live up to my expectations. Although I did like their choice of bread since it could hold up the whole burger without falling apart and the slaw was excellent, I did not like the pulled pork.
