Received Kelly's cupcakes as a birthday treat from some friends and the cupcakes were pretty good (the cake itself was kind of dry, but the icing is superb). I decided to finally make the trek out there to visit the store myself and it was an extremely disappointing experience.
Each cupcake was a different price, and none of the prices were listed. I inquired about a couple of the cupcakes and was treated like I was a bothersome hag. I tried to make small chat with the cashier after choosing my selection about how popular the brand must be, and she barely could be bothered to make eye contact and gave me a one worded response.
I'll save myself the trip and just indulge in some butter in my baked goods next time!

Pretty much the go to vegan bake shop in Burlington. If you’re looking for unique cookies, cupcakes, etc, then you’d want to stop by and see what they have. Super friendly service as well and you leave happy wanting to come back again. It was so good I forgot to take a photo before I took a bite of the lemons poppy seed loaf!

Friendly environment, quality products. While I'm not vegan / anti peanuts, etc, most of our studio folks have some sort of an allergy / food intolerance. This is the safest, tastiest place where we can get something everyone can enjoy.

I absolutely love Kelly’s Bake Shoppe! I’m from out of town so I can’t visit often but whenever I find myself in the area I make it a point to visit! The staff were so friendly and helpful on my visit and everything is so beautiful within the store. I tried the snickerdoodle oat latte and omg it has so much flavour and tastes just like the cookie!! I highly recommend 🥰💞

We LOVE 💘 LOVE 💘 LOVE 💘 Kelly's Bake Shoppe! I love that my child can go here and choose whatever he wants in the whole bakery. At other places he has to choose from one or two (unappealing) gluten free options, or no options at all! He is so excited everytime we come here. The cupcakes are by far our favourite, and with new flavours all the time we just HAVE to keep coming back! I also love the high quality ingredients that go into each scrumptious dessert they make. I am definitely willing to pay a higher price for the peace of mind of understanding the ingredients in my food choices. The staff are all amazing as well. They are so welcoming and helpful, you just can't help feeling happy when you are here. You have to go and check them out...you will seriously not be disappointed in the food or the staff!

You can't help but smile when you walk into Kelly's. It is so warm and cozy! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the offerings are delicious. I love how salt is balanced into certain recipes. The matcha cookies are so delicious. I always purchased muffins, pumpkin scone, cupcake and a snickerdoodle. Nothing disappointed. I'm so thankful for the time and effort taken to make allergen friendly goods. I will always stop here when in Burlington 🥰

$10 for a small muffin and a vegan (coconut) cappuccino. I'd rather have milk. Folks should have the option for that price. I didn't realize it was a gluten free vegan bake shop. Both the coffee and muffin were good but still I don't think I would go back.

I absolutely love this bake shoppe. It seems crazy that Kelly's has so many amazing reviews on here, but some of the negative ones pop up when you first visit the page. When I saw that, I had to add to the long list of glowing reviews because Kelly's is truly a fabulous place to visit. The decor is terrific, the service is impeccable, and the food is oh so yummy! I have been a customer since they opened and I drive 45 mins each way to buy their treats (and I'm not vegan, nor do I have allergies...I just love their high quality baked goods!). Luckily for me, I can buy in bulk and then freeze them so they keep for a long time. Everyone makes mistakes and there may be some disappointed people out there, but some people also can't be satisfied no matter what you do (and Kelly's does such a great job of responding to each concern and issue - well done guys!). Thanks for putting kindness, love, and healthy treats out into the world. 💗

I have been a customer since the baked goods were sold at their restaurant (Lettuce Love Cafe- formally Kindfood) and have literally never had a bad experience. I no longer live in Burlington but I come in whenever I can for a treat. My all time favourite is the brownies. Yesterday I had a "fluffer nutter" whoopee pie and it was amazingly delicious. Also a big fan of the coconut lattes ❤️ The staff are always friendly and helpful. Karen especially is so nice. Thank you for making all of my choco-holic dreams come true 💕 I highly recommend this place to anyone! The fact that it is gluten free, vegan, and allergy safe is just a bonus!

I tried the mocha milkshake and lemon cupcake today and both were so amazing. They are expensive but a good treat for once in a while and so yummy. Something I would of tasted when I wasn't vegan and probably didn't even think it would be vegan! Such a nice taste, Kellys is such a great place they work hard and make yummy stuff!!!!

We also got a cake for my husband's birthday in March which was soooo yummy! My goal is to try every cupcake and treat in the Shoppe. Then make all the recipes from the cookbook. A++++ Amazing. I thought it would be mainly cupcakes but it was soooo much more. We had ice cream and brownie bars for 11 people. I have never had vegan baked goods before- everything we had was delicious. 3 people in our party prefer no dairy and 2 people in our party have peanut allergies. Visiting Kelly's is always a pleasant experience! I personally go for their cookies which are absolutely delicious - i do find them 100x better than the cupcakes, the Snickerdoodle is amazing. If you're in the Burlington area, you must go to Kelly's simply to their delicious Snickerdoodle (cannot rave about it enough!!) YUM!

Kelly's is my favourite bake shop in the GTA and even in the Toronto downtown core. Even regardless of the fact that it is vegan/gluten-free/nut free. The treats are genuinely delicious and I love knowing they are made with whole ingredients and no artificial sweeteners.

This is a superior business. The customer service and the attention to detail for all the treats my wife and I have received over the years continues to blow our minds. We would recommend this place to ANYONE and EVERYONE. We've been coming for 6 years and we have continually been blown away. We love the ambience for simply hanging out and enjoying some time together. Ok, really awesome treats... they really gouge on price... what can i say... if you buy enough stuff and need a bag, well they give you the honour of paying .50 cents for the bag as well! So price of their food is really high to begin with, they ask for tips even on takeouts, can handle that... but having to pay .50 cents for bags... just a bridge too far. Stopped going, was a frequent customer.

We ordered 24 cupcakes - some were soy free and others weren't. There was a good variety available and the staff were amazing! Some cupcakes were really delicious while others were just okay. The frosting was VERY sweet and for some cupcakes I don't think I would eat all of it. <br/><br/>I called in to make an order and they said I couldn't reserve it, but when I walked in and asked for certain varieties, they said they were all out and I should have ordered ahead of time. Other than that miscommunication, the service was really wonderful.

I know this place gets a lot of good reviews. However, I spent a lot of money on a variety of things and I ended up throwing most of it in the garbage. The cookies were dry and the cupcakes tasteless. I know you can make a gluten free icing that tastes so much better but it requires butter ( not vegan) I am not quite sure what they use if some of their items are vegan and gluten free. I guess there are enough people to keep this bakery open but if you are not a vegan or gluten sensitive do not stop there.

Kelly's cupcakes are the perfect pick-me-up for any day, event, or just if you need a treat. It's a place you must eat when you're in Burlington. I've had a few of the cupcakes, my favourite being the s'mores which tastes like you're eating a s'more in a cake version! True to their name. Their vegan soft serve ice cream is also a dream. If I was watching what I ate, I would be so happy that it's only 100 calories!

Trendy, busy place, but I don't like the cupcakes.. As the title says, it's trendy, busy all the time, the desserts even look amazing....however I'm not sure if they get much repeat business with cupcakes like that. The chocolate was the driest I have ever had. The frosting was soo disappointing. I ate the whole thing hoping each bite would get better knowing it was fresh. Should've just had something else. I don't know if it's some sort of gluten free or vegan place, that may explain it. Maybe their other desserts are better. Maybe their vanilla cupcakes are better. It's pretty expensive to keep going back and trying out stuff at about $4 a cupcake with tax.

Even before stepping into Kelly’s Bake Shoppe, the overall appearance of the trendy bake shoppe called for my attention! With a little chalk board with cupcake quotes and Barbie pink accents, I was positive that the treats inside would be just as nice. When I walked in, the small store was packed with customers picking up boxes of treats and trying to choose just one cupcake from the array of different flavours. Although the store was overwhelmed with customers trying to get their share of the yummy treats, the staff welcomed every customer with a warm smile and made it easy to wait patiently for a cupcake. For a coffee lover like myself, I was recommended the coffee break cupcake (although what I really did want was to try all flavours). A Great Experience. When I walked into Kelly's I was overwhelmed by the sight and smell of delicious baked goods. The sight of row upon row of perfect cupcakes if heavenly . Crazy that it is all gluten free and vegan .The shop is ultra pretty with touches of pink and handwritten chalk board and fresh flowers.The staff member was friendly and helpful . Flavorful considering how they are made. Not cheap but since they are gluten-free, dairy free, butter ree, nut free, soy free, organic, etc. it's pretty much competitively priced. <br/>Had their Ginger molasses cookie, World Peace cookie, and the Snickerdoodle. 1st two cookie were nice & soft, the last one was just ok...nothing to be rushing back.

LOVE IT!. We drive in from london practically just to visit this place (and the restaurant nearby).. It's simply amazing food. Even if we weren't eating vegan we'd still probably visit here. Pretty good place. I had the iced pumpkin scone. It was great!! The place itself is not warm and inviting like other gluten free bakeries I have visited but the other items looked great. I even went to Kind Food which is also owned by Kelly and had a grilled cheese sandwich. It was wonderful. The salad that came with it was mediocre....but the grilled cheese was great!! I was hoping to buy a baked good at the Kind Food location but they don't sell any there....I would visit Kelly's again to try other items but it is quite a drive for me....

No gluten, no problem!. I recently went to Kelly's Bake Shoppe for the first time, and was blown away by how amazing the food was! I have gone gluten free within the past few months and was worried my sweet tooth might never be sated again. Now that I know about Kelly's Bake Shoppe I never have to worry again! My first time in I bought 3 cupcakes and a world peace cookie sandwich, and devoured it all! I cannot wait to go back and try more! The staff is so nice, the prices are very fair, the quality is beyond expectations! A must try!
