Review Sao Sao - Brossard

Nice quiet place, I ordered a dac biet soup and it was very good, also the spring rolls was one of the best I have ever ate. I don't know what they put in it but it was delicious! The waiter was also very friendly!

So disappointed, It took one hour for our food. House special Pho was salty. There was no basil. Order chicken rice, first time I see it in a bowl. Service was terrible. I don't recommend if you are pho lover. Rice was hard and burn. Noodles was overcooked.

My friend and I were at dix30 and debating on what to eat for lunch since everything (or almost) is expensive over there. We decided to go to Sao Sao on a whim, I had never tried it but she had. It was a HOT summer day in the middle of August and the waiter advised before even giving us a table that the AC was broken which was thoughtful. They had fans on so it wasn't too bad. I had a Gi cun roll as an Entrée and it was delicious! I could've eaten two or three of these and would've been full! The sauce they give you with it was also insane. I could tell they were fresh because I asked the waiter to avoid putting cilantro and when it came it didn't smell like cilantro like they just removed it or something. As the main plate, I had Bò nng with rice and the little salad. It was grilled beef with its own spices and seasoning. It was truly delicious and it filled me up, definitely worth the price I paid! All and all, the prices are very low and the portion size is generous! The restaurant itself isn't the fanciest in its decoration or ambience, but it's cosy enough and I would recommend trying it on an evening and getting different plates to try. Definitely will go again!

Was not too my liking....over priced might be 1 of them...was not impressed with the portions per dollar value...and just did nothing for my taste buds...

Don't think it's very good value for money, perhaps it's the food we ordered... Shrimp Skewer bowl and Chicken Sao for $45 (tax incl). For the quality or taste I'd rather spend my money elsewhere...

Nice and quiet place to eat at. I took take out. Broth was rich although I was disappointed at the price/quantity. It was slightly short of 18$ for a large which in take out form felt even smaller.

The Pho took way too long to come. My husband liked it but I found it too sweet for my taste..

Ça fait plusieurs fois que l'on y va et tout ce que l'on a mangé est toujours très bon, il faut essayer les spécialités, la crêpe vietnamiennes est à se rouler par terre, demander au serveur il vous expliquera comment la manger. C'est un incontournable sur la rive sud. Et en bonus c'est un apporter votre vin!

Un staff dynamique et chaleureux, beaucoup d'options végé et sans gluten dans le menu !! ��

Si vous voulez decouvrir un endroit pour essayer la nourriture vietnamienne, c’est un bon endroit pour aller, qualité prix c’est plus que abordable et service la clientèle impeccable ! Wow!!! 😍 Nous vous avons découvert ce soir! Nous sommes tombés sous votre charme. Je ne me souviens pas d'avoir mangé aussi bien dans un restaurant vietnamien dans les 10 dernières années! Tout était parfait! J'en aurais voulu encore. Un must à essayer: la salade de mangue! Miam!

I don't understand how you can leave a bad review from a restaurant that welcomes you with open arms! Honestly I have to say it's one of my favorite local spots to come to. Great service, delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Come in with a smile, leave with a warm heart. A plus side, the renovations are beautiful touch ;)

It had some OK food and some disappointing. The spring rolls with shrimp are tasteless and not worth the extra $1.50, the peanut sauce was also meh. The soup tonkinoise was delicious. The shrimp and scallop stir-fry was very tasty but the vermicelli was cold. The jasmine tea had zero taste and was barely tepid.

Délicieux restaurant vietnamien avec un superbe menu et une grande variété de Pho et soupe!

J'y passe régulièrement avec des amis, des membres de la famille; jamais été déçu! Le café froid vietnamien me tient heureux pendant une semaine. Après ça, j'ai besoin d'une autre soupe!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this delicious Vietnamese resto in the South Shore! I usually go to the Sao on Nuns Island near my office. The service was excellent! The food was very tasty... Clean resto, nice atmosphere... 4.5/5 just because I'm a tough critic and 5/5 equates into perfection which is very hard to achieve in my mind.
