Review Moral Gluttony - British Columbia

DELICIOUS and made with high quality ingredients and love! Highly recommend the iced coffee with housemade vanilla syrup. The BAT benny and mac n' cheese with bacon are fabulous but you've also got to try the MYSTERY menu item! So fiercely tasty! The owner/chef creates innovative and DELICIOUS dishes you won't find anywhere else that will definitely fill you up so don't miss out on the mystery menu item. The panfried potatoes are the most flavorful taters around. They use local ingredients, flavorful vine ripened tomatoes and you'll even find organic ingredients in use. Very impressive! You get a lot of food served for a reasonable price - well worth it! The chef/owner is so nice and talented. I highly recommend eating here and have already passed the word on to my family and friends. The breakfast tacos and flatbread pictured below are examples of mystery item creations (they are continually changing and so incredibly satisfying!)

So good! Love the mg club and the bennies. Owner knows how to make amazing food, love the frozen meals that are ready to take home too. So far I've tried the mushroom soup, turkey curry & turkey chowder and they are all amazing I'm sure the rest would be too. Hollandaise is really good, Friendly staff.

My friend and I where here for the first time on Saturday and can't wait to go back! The service was great, and the food was to die for. Oh, and they serve one of the best cups of coffee in town! (It's their own blend and locally roasted!!) I had the Chorizo Benedict, and my friend had the King Charc sandwich - both were absolutely delicious! It took us a solid 15 minutes to even decide, everything looked and sounded (and smelt) so good! If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would. There is so much love in each dish that gets prepared, and after talking to some of the staff, it is evident that they are proud of the products they serve. If you're looking for a great brunch or lunch destination in the Langley area, Moral Gluttony is a must-try! You won't regret it!

Probably the best Benny I've had in a long time. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was smooth and just tart enough. The restaurant is small with only 8 tables and does breakfast and lunch, only. The service was friendly and promp although we waited a bit for the food; probably because all 8 tables filled up at once. Next time I'm going to try the house made fennel sausage! Oh, and they have soups and frozen dishes for take away. My new favourite place for brunch.

Absolutely amazing food! Fresh, delicious and definitely not something you would expect at this location. The chef/owner is warm and welcoming. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the service. We both wanted iced coffee, and they apparently didn't have enough cold coffee for 2 so I said I would take a regular hot coffee. Instead she brought us 2 hot coffees. She only brought a tiny bit of cream for the 2 of us to share.... And then didn't come back for about 15 minutes.... So we were stuck drinking our coffee with half of the cream we would normally use. We did love the coffee cups and the French coffee press. Just wish we had more cream and a bit more attentive wait staff.

Wow! What can I say. Amazing food. Amazing service. Small restaurant. Doing what they can with what they have. Totally worth the wait. I had a grilled Cheese with their butternut squash soup. Now, the soup can be a miss at most places. But here, I can't even. So well balanced. You can taste the squash, but it doesn't hit you in the face. Now, let me tell you about their grilled Cheese. Not only is it filled with cheese, there is cheese on the outside. That, with an amazing soup, was the best mother's Day gift to myself. One of my daughter's had the grilled cheese with ham. Believe me, it ain't no Walmart deli ham. I could have eaten a pound of it. My other daughter had the mac and cheese. Now, she has an appetite. And an amazing palate. She doesn't mess around. When she had a smile on her face after a couple of bites, I knew we were good. Then she was halfway through and said she couldn't eat anymore. I was shocked. You have our stamp of approval. Thank you for the amazing food and service.

UNMORAL....GLUTTONY! Waitress said half an hour to 40 minutes wait. after an hour went inside to see what was going on and waitress said she came out and called our name and no one was there. None of the tables were clean when we came in. Got in trouble for bringing my half cold Starbucks coffee in since I had to wait an hour. Told me no outside coffee allowed and walked away. came back and said are you going to go out and drink that or do I have to dump that out for you. cuz of the health inspector but nobody cares about the dirty tables and the air ventilation duct hanging off the ceiling with an old ketchup can and some old weeds hanging from the ceiling nobody cares about that but my coffee is a big deal. After getting treated like a three-year-old child ordered eggs benedict from an apparent bone-in ham when we got it it was not a bone-in ham it was a pressed honey ham and the eggs benedict buns were hard the chorizo was hard on the other eggs benedict the tables were wobbly the service was horrible I can't believe I had to pay for someone treating me like garbage. one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to in my entire life and I will never go back.

Moral Gluttony has fantastic food! I come here on a weekly basis and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t thoroughly enjoy - from the Mushroom and Sage Soup to The Hammer, everything pleases the taste buds. The salads are perfectly dressed in a light citrus dressing and the potatoes are crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The owner and chef is very friendly and it shows that he loves to cook and cares about his product. The waitress is also very amiable and good-humoured! Attached is a photo of the Omelette du Jour that I had - salami, mushrooms, and brie.

I had known about Moral Gluttony for a while, my husband had tried it previously and I finally suggested that we try it for lunch as I had heard good things about it. It was amazing!! I had the grilled cheese with bacon and a cup of the borscht. My husband had the baked mac and cheese. It did not disappoint! The prices are fabulous and I would recommend bringing your appetite as the portions are huge. The staff were friendly and personable. I even saw the owner check in with each table to make sure they enjoyed everything; which I loved. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. We will definitely be back.

The place was amazing. Food, atmosphere, staff all top notch. The owner came out and chatted us up when we asked what kind of vinagerette they used. Great place to eat and they sell some killer dressings as well. Small, 8 or so tables, but on the Friday we went it was not at all crowded. A definite return trip.

First time eating there today. Mac and cheese with chorizo was amazing! Ken had turkey, bacon, corn chowder and grilled cheese with bacon. We loved our interaction with the waitress and the chef 😊. Highly recommend this place!!!!

Came in after the Mother's Day rush majority of the people had ordered so we thought it was perfect timing. There was a family sat after us that had to leave after waiting over a hour then asked how long it would be, the waitress told them no longer than five minutes. 15 minutes later the couple decided to leave and told the waitress and the chef. After a hour of waiting we were told we could not have the dish we ordered and that we have to choose something else. The waitress never came around to ask if we would like water or coffee, and we had to clear our own drinks as the dishes were never cleared. We then received our meal a hour and 45 after we ordered it was awesome but Sadly was told sorry for the wait once we were at the till to pay.... again great food but not for over 15bucks and a hour and a half wait.

“Have you heard of Moral Gluttony?” Asked my partner? “Oh yeah, it’s on the bypass and the sign is written in death metal font.” I’m so glad we finally came here. The first thing I loved was Christine. What a perfectly beautiful person! The second thing I loved was the hot chocolate, finished with hand-toasted mini marshmallows on top. And then the Comfort Zone came to the table. I had bacon, over medium eggs, and sourdough toast. My partner had the must-try fennel sausage with scrambled eggs and multigrain toast. I easily could have switched meals and been just as happy. Everything was cooked perfectly! On top of the incredible food, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, The Animals, and other great music was playing. I’ll be back next weekend!

Was my first time at Aj's restaurant today. Amazing food cooked by someone who is passionate and loves what he does. Chatted with him for a while, awesome guy. I highly recommend this place.

Tried this place based on reviews and it was well worth it. We both had the traditional benny with ham and were very pleased, it was delicious! Will definetly be going back.

My girlfriend, my best friend and I were passing through from Alberta, this came up as a good brunch place and was not diappointed. Service was truly fantastic, food on another level and it was an all around great experience. If you order the baked mac n cheese expect a vat of deliciousness. There's also an incredible deli next door. 5/5 for sure.

Wonderful place. The food was great, other then the fried potatoes being a little over done. The service was very good and the prices are reasonable. I will be going back.

The food was so good and so fresh! You can really taste a difference between fresh and frozen, service was great as well. I couldn’t be happier! Will be back soon that’s for sure :)

Very good food, slow at times when big crowds are in. Process is a little on the pricey side but food is really good . I would definitely come back again
