My partner and I had dinner here this evening- she had the chicken roti and I had the jerk chicken and rice peas, and we shared some dumplings...everything was delicious!! As for the customer service, I thought it was very good- the woman who served us was pleasant and polite, which seems to be rare these days, especially in food services, so I really appreciated that. I think the only setback, which isn't a very big deal, is that the place is a little small, so if you wanted to go with a bigger group of people, it might be a little challenging; also because the tables are right next to the counter, it can feel a little cramped and like people are hovering over you while you're eating and they're ordering. Other than that though, two thumbs up! We'll definitely be back!
Amazing Jerk chicken!. Rose is a sweetheart and is passionate about her food. It is not just a store name, Rose actually cooks the food. I go there at least once a week to pick up some Jerk chicken and my girlfriend eats the chana roti. I've been eating Jerk chicken for many years now and Rose's makes some of the best I've had. I've never had oxtail, so she gave me some to sample. Really great food, really great service!
Highly recommended

Great food-Friendly staff. Very accommodating. I often get Stew chicken or Ox-Tail meal and often ask for a piece of fried or jerk chicken (they sell it for 9.99 a pound, but are willing to give you a piece for a small fee if you just ask).
I noticed they had cow feet and felt curious as to what it tasted like so I ordered it. The lady actually came out and asked if I tried it before (I sadi no) and they insisted I tried a sample before actually buying it. I ended up not liking it and did not order it, but they certainly scored some customer loyalty points with me.
Only downside is if you go late they may run out of some items, but it is like that in most jamaican eateries, however that is an obvious sign that the foods are made fresh and not stored in the coolers ready to be made anytime.
Tasty Caribbean food at a great price. I found this little eatery when they first opened up. They're tucked away in the plaza so it's not the most conspicuous place to find. I was PLEASANTLY surprised. Real west indian owned and operated. I work across the street and now go at least once a week. I've recommended it to all my friends. The ox tail is awesome, but the REAL winner is the jerk chicken with oxtail gravy and coleslaw. Add a Ting (it's a drink) to it for the absolutely perfect lunch combination. They also have classic caribbean dishes like ackee and saltfish.
