Vesuvio has been re-imaged! A total reno has brought the restaurant into a truly great place to dine. Bright, airy, and tastefully decorated. Delicious food, attentive service and a superb atmosphere! Will be back regularly to enjoy. A great remake for our downtown core A wonderful surprise!
Decent food and staff. Great ambience with live singing. Slightly heavy on the pocket. Besides that it's actually not a bad Italian dinning experience.
Homemade Gnocci. It was perfectly done mmmmmmm mmmmmmm to die for
Great food and excellent service. Highly recommended! We were impressed by the quality of the food as well as the generous portions. For the price, Mt. Vesuvio's Ristorante provided amazing value. Nice and friendly service too. Will return next time we are looking to Italian cusine in Brampton.
Great food , great location. I have been going to Vesuvio's every year for New Year's Eve . The food is always fantastic, and the owners John and Joe have always made us feel like
Part of the family. A wonderful atmosphere and it's so nice to have a delicious dinner and then go for a stroll through gage park and take in the festivities.
It feels like a little piece of Italy weather dinning in or out on the patio in summer!
Brampton's Premier Italian Restaurant. This is just simply the best. This family-owned old school ristorante boast the best staff and the best italian in town. Take your waiter's advice on the wines and sit back and enjoy a wonderful dining experience. Don't spoil the event by being in a hurry, you can savour and linger and hold hands alll night if you want to.
The Caesar salad is the best in town and the daily specials are customarily excellent, particularly the seafood choices. The pizza is fantastic as noted elesewhere here, but for a real treat, ask your waiter for Linguine Romani, which regrettably is no longer on the menu but will be custom made by the obliging chef. It's a rose sauced linguine with atouch of vodka and enormous chunks of chicken breast... yummy. Oh and the bruschetta is also the best in town. The dessert menu could offer an enlarged selection of choices but after my appetizer and main course I'm usually not that hungry anyway. I only crave Italian occasionally, but when I do I want it done right and Vesuvio's makes the mark as tops in a city where several other quality choices exist.
The service here was very good. Our waiters were friendly, attentive and good humored. We enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer, nicely toasted and bite size. We tried the escargot, it was garlicky goodness. The linguine and mussels was decent. I can't say the same for the veal vesuvio. The concept sounded so good on the menu, but I really didn't like the flavors. I suggest you try the pizza. I didn't, and that was a mistake. I could see the oven right when I walked in, and obviously that's their specialty. Maybe next time.
Amazing service and food.. Saturday evening with a group of friends we were aimlessly driving around Brampton looking for a place to eat and by accident we stumbled upon Vesuvio's. What a pleasant surprise!! Great service and the food was amazing. The decor is a little old school Italian, but the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. Glad we listened to the waiter and ordered what he recommended.... absolutely superb. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meals. Will definitely be going back.
