Had chance to have amazing breakfast with family. Variety of parantha available. You may not see them on menu, Ask the server. Thali with yogurt and salad is available. Food was tasty, buffet is also available.
This is your place if you like so much salt that it it dries up the blood in your veins as soon as you set it on your tongue.
It used to be great! So the two score is in memory of thier formerly great food.
Last three times, same issue. Inedible due to salt. Three strikes, you are OUT!
So my quest for good Indian food took me to Brampton, a rather obvious choice, to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised by the Village of India. It is a vegetarian Indian cuisine restaurant that also specializes in Indian Bengali sweets. The second you step into this establishment your senses are overwhelmed by the strong aroma of spices and sweets, in the best way possible. The ambiance is really good with interesting decor and handmade paintings. There is large selection of sweets and dishes that will please most people's palettes. The food is not extremely spicy/hot as one might expect of Indian food, but it still manages to be very flavorful. I'd recommend the "Thali" with naan, where our have your pick of vegetables(mains) as well as side dishes and a sweet. Overall it was a pretty good experience, and because of its very reasonable price and buffet options, Village of India is on my top 5 places to get Indian food in the GTA.
