Today was the first time my wife and I visited Magnums. This place had been recommended to me by one of my morning coffee buddies. My wife had the Baked Scallops with garlic toast. I had the Shrimp and Scallop stir fry with a Caesar salad. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was attentive but not overbearing.We will return again.

As a very happy customer of Magnums, I include in my review some references to old negative comments because I feel someone who really knows the restaurant, should address them.
I highly recommend Magnums and often go for lunch - wings and Greek Salad, are my favourite. I get a small Greek Salad with dressing on the side (its a ton of food) I have been going to Magnums for over 10 years. The food is pub style (because guess what its a pub/bar), generous portions and if you ask for some modifications (referring to overdressed salad comment: get your dressing on the side or ask for half dressing) they always accommodate pleasantly! They have HANDS DOWN the best damn wings in town and yes (in reference to 30 flavours!) if there's a kind you like they have it, or they will combine a couple of things for you and make it!!
I thoroughly believe that you are treated the way you treat others - show attitude - get attitude.
Be friendly, receive friendly service. Perhaps, as a 'regular' I am treated well, however, I believe I'm treated well, because that is how I treat them. If there is something that I am not happy about, I address it and it is looked after immediately. In customer service, the biggest issue is not the complaint itself, but how the complaint is handled and rectified that leaves the lasting impression in the customers mind.

Not sure if the reviews are just really outdated, but there seems to be a lot of negative ones. I just moved to brampton and my boyfriend and I fell in love with this place! The wings are huge and amazing, you definitely get what you pay for. We brought his brother and his girlfriend here to try, and they loved it as well.
I've read some negative reviews, but decided to try it anyways as it's just down the road. I'm a pretty critical person but I honestly could find nothing to complain about at this place. It was PACKED when I went with 3 friends on a Friday due to a post-funeral get-together that we didn't know we'd stumbled upon until we asked. Despite the busy night, our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty (huge wings and something I can't remember the name of that the waitress recommended) and reasonably priced (not cheap, but definitely not exorbitant). I would recommend it for people our age (late 20s and early 30s) and we'll definitely go back.
Ive been going to mags for years and the staff have always been professional and friendly.The food and drink prices are honest and the service wonderful.Food tastes great and the beer is always cold.There are many tv sets and kareoke for the singers in the crowd.Saturday always pops and there is the occasional theme night as well.My friends and I call this our home bar and we will obviously be going here for years........cheers!!!
