Drove past here before and finally came on Sunday to check it out with a friend. Ordered the Tikka Kabob and Mazari Kabob you pay then sit. Adequate wait time it was quite busy so that's a good sign but there were only 2 girls working, One was working cash and cleaning which does needs improving as it could invite bugs. With regards to the food very impressed the meat seasoned perfectly and the bread is toasty. Would return but only for take out.

Food? Yesssss! Service? Not so much.

Ended up in Brampton unexpectedly after a business meeting. Did a quick Zomato look up of restos in the area that have a 3.5+ rating, that wasn't a McDonalds, Timmy's, or anything of the sort. And honestly, it was a challenge.

Anyway, we end up at Pamier and realize that it has a fast-food self-serve set up as well. You order at the counter and then take your food to your table.

I am going to start my review with the food. We ordered the Tikka Chaplee Kabob with rice, which is basically minced pieces of marinated veal and a veal chunks, both flavoured very differently. This entire dish was fantastic. Both meat dishes were marinated and flavoured so well. So savoury, and not too salty. The beef was also cooked to perfection - so tender and just the perfect amount of pink on the inside. The ground Chaplee was a burst of flavour and the texture was surprisingly incredible.

We also ordered a Lamb Tikka, which is a boneless lamb filet mignon. It had the same marinade and flavour as the beef tikka we had, plus that delicious lamb taste. And like the beef, it was cooked beautifully. And it wasn't gamey either. Very good.

A lot of the reviews complain about the meat portions being small but I found that they were very fair. Anymore would have been too much. And that's coming from a meat lover.

So it seems that this review points to Pamier being a great restaurant, however, I do have to talk about their service. The front staff - the young lady working the cash and taking orders - was very rude. Not only did she look like she hated her job and the customers, she refused to apologize when she made a mistake. When putting our order in, she forgot to punch in our lamb order. When we realized that she had done this, we very politely told her about it. Instead of apologizing, she immediately started saying how she knows she punched it in, arguing with us and with the kitchen staff that she knows she pressed it. She never apologized, just argued. Luckily, the kitchen staff were better... He apologized for her mistake and quickly prepared our second entree.

Secondly, when we asked her if the naan came with humus or any kind of dipping sauce, she rudely said "no way" and when asked how the naan should be eaten with rice, salad, and meat, and no dip... she condescendingly said, "you just eat it with the food that's on your plate." Maaaaan, almost lost my sh*t when I heard her respond that way. It's possible that the person who asked was only used to having naan be dipped into something. As a non-Afghan person showing interest in Afghan cuisine, restaurant staff should be enthusiastic and eager in addressing questions like that. But what do I know...

So anyways, lol... in conclusion... Go for the food. It won't disappoint. And expect bad service - it will disappoint lol.

I was craving kababs. This place satisfied my craving. Nice large pieces of chicken. Pretty happy with the portion well worth the price. I will come back again.

The food was very tasty. We tried the lamb tikka and for a vegetarian option the dal sabzi. The wait was about 15 minutes; the food came hot and fresh. The naan was soft, warm and good. The lamb was tender and nicely spiced. The dal had a nice kick to it (we chose medium spiciness) and was quite flavourful. We didn't bother with the rice. The portion size was good enough without it. We also tried the mango shake and fresh lime juice; both were very nice but the lime could have used some mint. We went at dinner time on a Friday. There was plenty of seating, as most people were doing takeout. Plenty of parking. I'll come back and try the chicken next time.

Been here twice already, and highly recommend it for the regular carnivorous diner! Pretty much everything on the menu is worth raving about, but the beef kebabs and lamb chops are especially nommers!

The food is fairly priced ($11-12 can get you a decent sized meal), and the large and spacious restaurant provides plenty of room to move around. A few sets of extra long tables make it an ideal environment for a large dining group.

I've only ever been here for lunch, and the restaurant has never been that busy....so can't say what dinner service is like. Still, the kebabs are worth the wait.

There's no waiter service, so make sure you keep an ear out for that bell!

I actually love their food, chicken kebabs are my fav! Extremely low priced so the quality of customer service is pure garbage. But can't complain when your paying 10 bucks for a tasty dinner!

Mixed feelings. Good prices - huge portions. Unfortunately it was mostly carbs (rice, naan, salad ect) and very little meat. Not a fan of that ratio, perhaps afgani people enjoy it but I prefer more meat.

Go to Pamier for excellent value and taste! Their grilled chicken breast kabobs are perfectly seasoned and served hot, as is their half chicken dinner. For $10, you get the full dinner with their lightly seasoned rice, afghani sesame flatbread and A small salad - I recommend you pay the extra and try the Qabilee rice which includes raisins carrots and sliced almonds (best for 2 people as its a generous portion). The food is served cafeteria style and you are called up to pickup your meal rather than table service, but the price is extremely reasonable and the tastes are excellent. I've brought 4 different friends here to dine, and everyone has fully enjoyed the experience.
