I had breakfast here last week with a couple of colleagues.
This is a small diner style restaurant in a strip plaza off one of the main streets in Brampton. It's the kind of place I generally like for breakfast- small, homey, open and friendly. I can see how it could result in a table wait on a busy day; it is quite small.
Staff were friendly and professional; service was courteous and prompt.
The food was very good- had an excellent omelette- not huge but plenty big enough to fill me up, and it was stuffed with its fillings - bacon, mushrooms and cheese. Home fries were just okay but the omelette made up for any shortcomings there, as did the good coffee.
The price was fair - about $15 tip in, reasonable compared to other metro locations. I'd definitely return if I am in the area.
Fast and friendly service. We went for breakfast and the pancakes were very good. The hungry man was a struggle to finish for my husband. Highly recommended for a quick breaky.
Fast friendly service, excellent food, variety of items on the menu, all reasonably priced. Fantastic all day breakfast. I highly recommend the Ranch Skillet, you won't be disappointed. Decor could do with an update, but it doesnt detract from the food.
Very good breakfast food. The best I've had in Brampton. Just a great menu, small town atmosphere. A little worn out decor, but the food makes up for it with little impact on your wallet. The food is not bland, thats how it's supposed to taste. Definitely normal white food and delicious. Better than giggling tomatoes, dennys or even coras. Try it out if you dont mind a small town diner atmosphere.
This place is a family favorite, everyone in our family loves this place and we visit it every time my brothers in town.
I used to come here all the time (but then got distracted by another competitor). OMG why did I stop coming here? The food is fantastic! While other places are cutting portion sizes and using smaller eggs for breakfasts this joint stays true to it's original form..... Good hearty breakfasts at a reasonable cost!! Love the "hungry man" breakfast. It's sure to fill you up!
I like it, but don't tell to many people I want a seat
My go-to local diner. Forget Cora's, forget Sunset Grill, I just go to Stacy Lee's for the same home cooked food at a fraction of the price. And better portions. Great spot to go when I'm hungover in the morning :)
