Kids from the School can be a pain at lunch, but Gary makes the best Jerk Pork and Curry Chicken around. There is a reason this place is busy, and yes sometimes their a little abrupt. Get over it if you like good food, this place has lots of regulars for a reason. Not sure what these other people are thinking rating them low. Try it you will see.

Had the Jerk pork and it was very good perfect amount of heat. Jerk chicken looked great as well. Not many choices in that neighbourhood so it was a good call.

Portland Jerk was a bit spicier then Gem’s House of Jerk and came with a separate coleslaw. I think that there was a bit more chicken the Gem’s and the rice seemed a bit mushier but still good.

Been there to buy box patties only. Today we got: Curry goat 4/5 tasty, good size portion for the small. Goat was tender. Jerk pork 4/5. The pork was moist and tender. Lots of rice, a bit more sauce would've been bomb. Would most definitely go again to try other dishes.

The lady in there is very rude I would deduct stars but the guy in there helped me out and is very awesome so I won’t. I love their food. I usually go there for the Tuesday special every Tuesday. They want to charge you for extra hot sauce now and they also raise the price of the Tuesday special $6.50 after taxes which I’m okay with. Cost of living! Lots of variety of food and drinks! Lots of parking but cramped parking lot! Amazing food! I get their rice and peas with oxtail sauce! Good stuff!

This is the first time I've been here in about 12 years and the food is as delicious as I remember it. Ordered curry goat with rice and peas. Good portion too. Also bought a jerk chicken dinner for the SO, a loaf of hardough bread and a slice of rum cake. YUMMY!!

I've never had a jerk chicken dinner that gave so much chicken. Huge portion size. The jerk chicken was good but the jerk pork was really good, it was not dry it was moist and very tasty. Also the two ladies at the front were very polite, I couldn't ask for better customer service. I would go back again no questions asked.

This has to be the best place to buy oxtail in all of Brampton! I've tried many many many spots over the past 10 years and Portland Jerk is the best in my opinion. Always delicious! Perfect portions sizes! Excellent quality and value.

Had the Jerk Chicken, it was good. The meat was tender and seemed fresh but the skin was dry and rough. The rice and sauce was nice. Coslaw was given in a really small portion. Wish the lady at the front was more customer friendly oriented

I decided to give this place a try today.I was not disappointed.Bought the stew beef..delicious! I also gave their counter cake slices a try..again they were good. The restaurant in clean and organized to adhere to healthy and safety Covid. measures. They have a variety of Caribbean drinks and snacks. I will definitely return and try their other dishes. Impressed. Worth a visit!
