Stopped by with some friends today at Dixie Lee Restaurant. I ordered fried chicken and fried haddock and it was absolutely incredible. I was also thoroughly impressed how friendly the staff was for a fast food restaurant. I look forward to my next visit to Dixie Lee.
Absolutely amazing experience! I was on a business trip and stopped in to Dixie Lee for some fried chicken in Blind River and have to say that it was some of the best I've ever tasted. I tried the chicken strips and really enjoyed the HOT dipping sauce. I loved having the TV running the news while I was eating as it gave my business partners and I something to chat about. Additionally, the men's bathroom was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly and even brought our food to our table when it was ready. Being able to hop on your FREE wifi was also a huge plus. Way to go Dixie Lee!
Came from "Rocking On The River" Royer st. Off hwy 557 to hwy 17 ( 5 min drive) and had a great meal with pop for our family of 6. Quick polite service and quality food.

My wife and I knew of Dixie Lee Fried Chicken from other outlets in three provinces, so we visited this one before our regular Monday movie night in Blind River. We always order the 4 piece meal to get included drinks and waffles. The chicken was juicy, the fries were spicy, and the waffles were fresh cooked. This is one of the best outlets we have ever been to. The staff were helpful and the food preparation was excellent. The cost is more than McD, but less than a fancy restaurant. Other people arrive for take-out and most are called by name.
Wow!! Delicious & mouth watering!! Loved the premium fried chicken, fries, gravy & tried the poutine. Was in a hurry and need some fast food quick. The restaurant staff was friendly and location very clean. Loved it and will be back soon!
