I use to come here as a kid with my grandmother and get the burgers, milkshakes & play the jukebox. I am now an adult and have been here more then I can remember & they still have the most amazing chicken burgers, milkshakes & onion rings. I'll be back for sure :)
A nice man named Kyle served me, and he was one hot piece of ass, he was the best part of my day, a real ray of sunshine. He makes me feel like I can stop drinking and breaking expensive lamps
Nostalgic. Authentic. Delicious.
This One's About the Atmosphere. The chicken burger was bland (even after adding sauces like cranberry), but everything else we tried had good flavour (burgers, fries, and shakes). The draw here, though, is the atmosphere: 50's decor, jukebox, neon lights, and walk-up to-go ordering counter. Extra Kudos for the compostable take-out tray!
Easily one of my favorite diners in metro. Great burgers that arent overly greasy, always hot when served (with cheese actually melted unlike mcdonalds and wendys) and never too long a wait, even during the busy summer months. Totally worth the commute from Halifax.
I liKe it for the vintage theme, the coke, ice cream, onion rings, and fries. But the burgers are not tasty nor fresh.
Good value. Great food and promt service.
Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers are made fresh, not frozen or processed and juicy.
A local icon and favorite for many years.
Used to work there.... Still love their cheeeburgers and chickenburgers. The place is spotless - I remember cleaning up deep inside the range hood above the fryers every night.
The hamburger is fresh, not frozen, and the chicken is cooked in a huge stock pot out back in broth with herbs etc - so tasty. The only thing - I wish they didn't use frozen fries and onion rings.
The parking could be better but the food good. Nothing fancy & I think that's why they've been able to survive in an area where things are getting fancier
Very retro! A staple of the Bedford food offerings. Milkshakes are delicious. The chickenburger is not a battered chicken cutlet but it is loose chicken pieces in a soft bun. The hamburgers are great too!
Never have eaten here before. If you’re looking for your common deep fried chicken burger, you are in the wrong place. The chicken burger was on a soft bun. The chicken was soft, shredded and hot. Now no matter what that’s not going to have a ton of flavor. That’s why you pick toppings! It was a delicious chicken on a bun topped with Mayo and cranberry sauce. The only complaint I have is that it was a little small. But it was hot, tasty and I’m hoping a bit more healthy than deep fried anything!!

Food was delicious! Had a chicken burger, onion rings, piece of fish and a chocolate milkshake. All good but would definitely recommend the milkshake...lol We sat outside at the picnic tables but if you want to, you can dine inside in a 50/60's themed dining area, complete with a jukebox(due to covid, you can't choose the songs like before, but it is still playing music for the ambience).
Love the retro vibe! Cool place to go in the evening with all the neon. Really good service and good eats!
A strong 4. A Bedford institution that I tried for the first time ever tonight. Good quality chicken sandwich but seemed very hot as if it was microwaved. Seasoning seemed a bit too modest. Yam fries were crisp and perfect. Curry chipotle was seasoned well. Milkshake was thick and creamy and really hit the spot. Will visit again but will likely not order the chicken sandwich again.
This is 100% a piece of history.. the food is always great and hasn't changed much over the years.. we love it.. the building has gone through a lot of changes tho.. I remember going here as a child with my dad over 40 years ago.. lol.. great food.. great times.. great memories..
Great meal.very clean and friendly staff.
