From what I can see, this may be the first, the one, and the only review in English :-)
I discovered this place this summer when I saw their food truck near Place des Arts in Montreal. They had a little plaque or trophy which named Patate Malette as having the best poutine in Quebec. I asked the cashier where the restaurant was and when she said Beauharnois, I said that was too far for me, but she convinced me the trip would be worth it. So last night I made the 75 km round trip and I can't wait to go back. The place is just a "roulotte" with picnic tables outside where you can sit and eat whatever you ordered and recieved from the window. I freaked out when they added the gravy to the fries and cheese curds: they don't laddle that dark magic onto the dish, they POUR it on out of stainless steel teapot! I can't wait to go back on another Sunday drive!
