Very friendly. Short rib tempura was amazing. Sashimi was also very good.
You must eat here if you like sushi. Unexpectedly good. Fresh food, homemade and unique cocktails to pair with your meal. Peter the owner and chef, is great, paying attention to the small things that makes this stop a great experience. Very quaint, eclectic with its late night sushi disco. Thank you for hospitality and making us feel at home.
Showed up on a rainy Saturday for lunch, it was quiet, but Chef Peter welcomed us in and quickly sat us. I ordered a well poured Sapporro and my spouse asked for a house cocktail. She really enjoyed it. The Chef recommended a selection of dishes and each one was fantastic. The plate presentation looked great and it was fun eating with the chopsticks. We had: kimchi, seaweed salad (try it, so good), soybeans in shell, a pork dish, short rib, and shrimp tempura. We were full and satisfied. (We finshed the meal with a sake tasting- highly recommend)
Finally! Something other than burgers and fries! The food was 5 *, the prices were 5* with exception to the 12 dollar caesar, and I would have given 5* for all but there could have been more to choose from. That being said, quality over quantity is key. The staff were uber friendly as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and super chill. They're open til 3am and I heard they were getting a DJ for the night. We'll definitely be back with our friends!
Delicious Japanese tapas in Bayfield. Great portion sizes too. My favourites were the wakame salad, short rib tempura, tonkatsu, and the sake chocolate truffles though everything I tried on the menu was wonderful. Would highly recommend this place!
