This was by far the best restaurant I have been to all year. The portions are overwhelming at first but when you take your first bite you know that you have to clean your plate. The staff were all extremely friendly and courteous. I love spicy food but most place focus on heat, made in Mexico has heat but they don't drown the flavour with it. I can't wait to go back for my birthday to hear the staff sing and get my birthday tequila. Order a Mexican Bulldog you won't regret it!
Made in Mexico is authentically Mexican. The food is delicious and plentiful! We went on Dia de los Muertos and the entertainment was superb. I highly recommend Made in Mexico...check it out!

Ambience is mind blowing . the staff make you feel like home . so friendly and so approachable.
We've been here 4 or 5 times and we love it every time. Good food good service good atmosphere. My kids love it as well.

Nothing else to say, but I will give a short review. The food was amazing, tasted great and authentic. Service was on point very prompt and super friendly. Price was very nice to my my wallet as well. I really hope that this place stays, I have lived in Barrie for 3 years and this is the 4th place in that location. Hopefully Made in Mexico does not have the 5 points curse.
Really good. I've ordered takeout here twice and been very impressed on both occasions. The food has been flavourful and authentic. The value is excellent. Awesome food at a reasonable price is my kind of restaurant. Just what Barrie needs.

There are a lot of restaurants on Dunlop. We had lunch at a pub and decided we wanted something different for dinner. We were waiting to walk across a busy intersection and noticed Made and Mexico. No debate -We decided to try it out.
That turned out to be a great idea!
This restaurant feels like a party. A family friendly party!
We decided to sit on the patio. It was a warm day but it was dusk and there was a lot of shade. Can get loud on the patio, a combination of music, people talking and sounds from the street. It's wasn't annoying, just made you feel like you were somewhere happening.
We started with guacamole. Was great, just the way I like my guacamole - chunky and full of flavour. Home made nachos made it great.
We both got the fish tacos. I loved them. Two Hugh tacos with two sides. Picked rice and green salad. The rice was great, the salad was just salad and was good.
When the sun started to set, they lot a fire in the middle of the patio and turned on strings of lightbulbs that crossed crossed the area. Was great.
I will be back!!

Loved it!! For sure will return!. Tonight was my first time going to Made In Mexcio in Barrie along with my family. We loved the restaurant atmosphere and the staff is very nice and patient. The food was amazing the the portions were huge and a great value for your money. The presentation of every dish was phenomenal and I was very impressed with how fresh and well made everything was. All the food was very flavourful and my whole family and I all enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered 5 dishes in total and everything exceeded our expectations. We are all still raving about the food and are all eager to return. I would for sure recommend everyone give it a try!
I've been every where !. I actually brought over friends from Mexico and they loved it.! The food was great and the service was fine. Lots of big portions and great value for the money. I'm heading there now for lunch... Can't wait !
Overall fantastic!!!. Went out with a few girlfriends to celebrate an engagement. Food was incredible and authentic.Our server was quick and very nice, she even gave my friend a free shot even though we were the last table in the restaurant on a Saturday night. Would 10/10 recommend this place!!

Service Was Amazing, Experience was Authentic.. My family and I just returned from a family vacation in Mexico, and before our trip we decided to try out the Made in Mexico restaurant to get us in the mood for a Mexican vacation. Even after our return our boys are still talking about the trip to this restaurant. There was great music, servers were dancing, and they even sang songs in spanish! We had a fantastic server named Jeff, and he was unforgettable. He was very polite and made sure we were comfortable. I was very pleased with how he was able to serve a busy restaurant and still make our family feel special. I have two small children and our server made sure that they were having a great time. We told the server that we were going to Mexico and he came with sombrero's for my boys. It was a highlight of the night. Our experience at Made in Mexico was amazing, and we even spoke about it on our trip! We will be back and we hope to get the same server, he really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Also the food was authentic and,this we found out while we were on our trip, so we knew what we were getting ourselves into. Great family friendly environment, Amazing Service 10/10!!!
