Came here with some friends before a movie as it is right next to the theatre. Pretty good beer selection. Had the Reuben and it was very tasty. Service was very friendly although we did have to wait awhile for our bill.
Would return!
Nice Irish pub with a great menu including a selection of curries. Today I tried the Chicken Roti Wrap and it was ok. The vindaloo tasted very sour...maybe too much vinegar? It was weird. I have previously had the Vegetable Curry and it was very nicely done. Great drink deals and service always.
One of my favorite places to eat, hands down. This place has the BEST selection of appetizers, as well as a unique beer menu! Choosing what to eat will be the hardest decision you ever make, but you won't regret your choice.
I love this place. The food is great, good quality and the servers are so friendly and my favourite night is tequila Tuesday! They have a different flavoured cocktail every week this night. My favourite dish is chicken pie. I also like the fish and chips. Tonight I had the fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder soup. Delicious. Also right now for St.Paddy's day they have a separate menu. I tried the inside out pouting appetizer for $5. It was so good.
Strolling inside Cross Iron, I stumbled upon Fionn MacCool's. My husband wanted a few drinks and wanted to try the place. Being pescitarian, I was hesitant at first thinking I won't be able to order anything that'll satisfy my craving for decent, quality food. I went in anyway and was quite surprised by the choices. I mean, who would think samosas and curry be on an Irish pub menu? I ordered both and found them both to be delicious. The samosas were tasty -- not oily or salty at all. The seafood curry was equally great -- creamy, spicy, tangy. I would definitely order the same things again though am looking forward to trying the other items on the menu next time.
Ambiance was nice. Tables were generously spaced, music wasn't loud, and it was clean. Our server Jacob was also awesome, answering all our questions and even starting conversations with us. Glad I didn't judge this book by its cover.

We were greeted and gave us an option as where to sit, bar or dining area. We picked the bar, and regretted that I did. The service wasn't up to the basic standards of the waitress (smile, and the feeling of not wanting to work there, the server made us wait 20 minutes afterpayme20 a few times for a debit machine for payment) in my opinion.
I had no booze lemonade with ginger and it was refreshing for our meal, but you may have to request less ice and a little easy on the sweetness.
The food on the other hand were amazing. We ordered shepard's pie with greens on the salad. Fish and chips, and french onion soup.
The shepard's pie had an ultra soft texture of mashed potatoes, which I wished there were more. The contents of the pie had a burst of flavors from meat to veggies and definitely cooked well. The green salad on the side provided a contrast bitterness of taste which complimented well.
The fish and chips were well made; the batter was crispy and solid to hold the fish together as I ate it. The tartar sauce had a nice balance of flavors and not too overpowering. You can taste the Guinness in the batter too.
French onion soup was well done to the point that it doesn't taste like instant mix powder. It was tasty, not too salty, and had enough onions and cheese lathered in it.
Overall, pick the dining area for a better service and I will be back for more to try out other menu items.
Good pub food. Had the Guniess beef and mushroom pot. Really good......especially with a glass if red wine.
Quick and efficient service and great food. The service was excellent and super fast. We ordered our appy while we checked over the menu and it came very fast. We ordered thr Calimari and to be honest it wasn't stellar though the red chili pepper dip it came with was awesome. Our meals came really fast as well and were very good. we had the Guiness burger with poutine and the seafood pie with Irish chips with spicy mayo and it was all so very good. Will definitely come back.
Great!. I've had 3 lunches here. Food was very good, and very happy with the service.
All around great. Went here recently and loved the food. The service was great and I love the atmosphere of the place. I will be going back.
