The atmosphere and the decor was just the entree into what was to follow during my first but certainly not my last visit. The pleaseant staff were knowledge and helpfull, the menu is filled with many dishes to choose from. I chose the special of the night which started with a homemade curried cream of carrot soup (the best I have ever tasted) the main dish was a pan seared salmon with a bourbon reduction sauce (the sauce was so delicious), served with rice pilaf and fresh grilled vegetables. The salmon was perfectly done , the plate presentation artistic, the dish was simply delicious. Now on to the desert ...Lemon white chocolate cheese cake was to die for I loved it! I seriously recommend that if you want a romantic evening ( the booths are intimate and cozy and comfy) or if you have a big celebration (There is plenty of room for your friends and family) this is the perfect place to go. Bonus, the drive there from Quebec is a lovely one. This time of year the colors are changing and the country side is a feast for the eyes but that is just the beginng of the feast. Cheers
My wife and I go to the North Glengarry Restaurant very regularly. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Mo and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service has always be top notch and we definitely enjoy every visit. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food, excellent service and does not cost a fortune. Has to be best in town.
Atmosphere, food and service. Best casual and rustic establishment in the neighborhood. Great for a good fun get toghether with friends or family. And generous extra food on your plate!!! Prices are reasonable... Actually great, when you consider the portion size. Good assortment of beers and a nice open air terrace with a original waterfall in the summer days. I have been there often with friends and family since their openning a year ago, never was I once disapointed. We always left belly full (and doggy bags), with fun filled memories!
