I've been here with friends and family alike over a dozen times. I've enjoyed their onion rings, popcorn shrimp, their burgers, their fries, a few shakes here and there... all tasty, no complaints.
The other day my friend and I stopped in after work. He recommended I try their Whiskey River BBQ burger with a veggie patty. Also had a side of poutine with it.
That burger was honestly totally fine by me. Not a bit of "this is weird" passed through my mind. Tasted fine and I'd even consider having it again some other time if I was feeling like avoiding a bit of fat intake. :0
I tried their blue cheese burger the time before last and you know... that stuff is kinda weirdly good. I'd recommend giving it a shot.
Couldn't recommend their wings though. Bit too steep, like most places I suppose. They're not bad by any means but the price is insane. Stick with the burgers and other stuff.
One tip about this place though is that you should make yourself aware of peak times. It's a large restaurant and it tends to get JAMMED full of parties large and small. I imagine the wait staff gets put through the ringer daily.
It certainly goes to show how popular the place is.
If you do make it in around times like these then your service will slow down a bit, lots of pressure on the wait staff.
All said of the orders we've made there over the years I think the only goofs I've ever encountered were the ones from yesterday where they sent my friend the wrong type of fries and forgot about our popcorn shrimp.. which our waitress rectified right away anyway. Honestly that's a pretty dang good track record in my book.
If I had one issue, and this is largely a personal thing anyway so you can probably ignore it, it'd be that this is the only restaurant I've been to that consistently gives me heart palpitations when I eat there. It's bizarre.
I can have a big greasy burger and fries anywhere else and nothing happens. But for some reason, and I mean every time, I get them at RR.
Don't know what that's about. Haven't told anyone or asked questions about it so who knows.
It's a good place that'll do you right. I plan on returning again when the mood strikes.
My wife and I have been to this location a couple of times and it was pleasant both times with little to nothing going wrong both times. Staff were attentive, prompt, and easy to talk to. Food was tasty and got to the table in a reasonable amount of time. I would go back if in the area.
Red Robin is famous for their hamburgers, and they have a bar as well. The prices are a little high, but at least you can still find decently priced items in the menu. The alcoholic beverages are high priced as is usual for Canada. The service around 8p.m. may be a little slow because at that time is where they are changing shifts.
Everything was great last night. The food was good, atmosphere as well, and our server Jacqueline did the best job serving that I/we've had in a long time.
OMG we had a great lunch!! Loved our food and our waitress was so friendly! Oh and not just bottomless fries but bottomless Caesar salad!! Defiantly will be going back! Come to Chilliwack 😊
We were seated promptly, our server came by our table at a reasonable pace after seating, and got us our drinks in a timely manner. We ordered the tower of onion rings before our meal came out. For the most part the food was good and tasty. However, the fries were lacking, they were stale, didn't have the fresh crispness to them.
A friendly and fun family restaurant. Haven't been here for a while.. No more macho nachos, menus are now flip through books, fries don't come in baskets, and they were out of the mile high mud pie. The food is satisfying, maybe a bit greasy. Bottomless fries are always good...but where's the train?!
Friday night 5:30 busy time. They were fast and efficient for our 20 min or so wait. We were sat by a hostess who also was so pleasant. The waitress wasn't far behind. Were were a table of 5. Told us the specials, took our drink order. We had appies too. Took a little bit longer for the appies but wasn't an issue at all, we sat by the kitchen and all the staff were happy, pounding out the food! They told us that there was a delay but not an issue at all. The buffalo wings and kalamari were tasty. My husband loved the wings!! Soon after, all our burgers arrived. Delicious. A little too much season salt on one of the burgers. All in all the staff were very well trained and attentive. Quick. Especially being the rush. Manager was making his presence around the restaurant, greeting each table finishing up or leaving asking if there meals were great. Having conversations! He was involved with his staff. Nice to see! My husband wants me to add that the hot wings are very near perfect!! We will be back as I was shocked at the great service ad fresh hot food! Bravo! From the minute we arrived to our leaving red robins in Abby rocked!! Who knew! We will be back and I will be telling my friends and family. Keep up the great work. The kitchen staff too seeing you guys working hard non stop and still laughing and communicating to waitresses and each other!!! Awesome to see!!! Need I say more? THANKYOU it was my sons birthday dinner! Perfect!
Love it. Food drinks and good times always come back
Late night staff seem more on top of things than afternoon crews. Decent value and fairly consistent. Have had a couple of less than stellar Ceasar salads.
