La Torteria

Finally made it here and got to taste some amazing tacos. Fresh prepared, delicious and reasonably priced tacos. Great clean atmosphere and a good choice of menu items all with a free chips starter. We enjoyed the tacos and will certainly be back.

Place is spacious, had a bit of a hard time understanding the one worker but managed to get around. From my understanding the owner speaks fluent english. Menu is very confusing to read, skip the dishes vs website vs the physical menu vs the menu mounted on the tv are all different layouts and have different items on the menus. Tacos are delicious, authentic and fairly priced. They have a station for condiments which was a great addition. I wanted to try one their drinks (horchata, tamarindo, jamaica) but they had none available on a Friday afternoon which was strange. Churros aren't home made, comes from a box. Overall its a great place for tacos, will be making another visit!

The other day I found a place that offered a great deal to have my tires rotated,so I head for my appointment early and I see a sign "Tacos" Lord knows I love tacos,so I'm early for my appointment and it is lunch time so I decide to try this place as I've found over the years it's always these small out of site restaurants that have the best authentic home cooked foods. I entered the establishment and was greeted by a very friendly gentleman named Robert. Robert was fantastic! Walked me through their menu. I usually don't eat a huge lunch so I opted for a soft steak taco. It was delicious!!! My only little thing is I'd ask next time to be easy on the cheese. Little to cheesey for myself but others night enjoy that. Easy fix for next time on my part. They offer a range of sandwiches that look absolutely delicious!!! In fact I might head up there this week to try one. They also have a hot sauce bar with about 6-8 different sauces hot and mild. I didn't get to try them all but I'll be sure to next time when I have more time. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Mexican street food! These guys are doing it right with a smile on their faces! Fantastic food! Fantastic friendly service with a simple clean atmosphere. Highly recommend!! Cheers to Robert and his staff for offering a great Mexican experience! I will be heading back soon and I'm bringing the wife next time as she loves Mexican food as much as myself! Enjoy!!

Looking for authentic mexican food in the area & this place didn't disappoint, we had a torta the pierna & steak tacos,I'm from Mexico and this food is the real deal,very tasty and portions are generous, service was great as well,we will be back for sure.
