Great food and service. Manager and staff is very friendly. Momo's are very delicious and the burgers both vegetarian and meat options are amazing. The sizzler is also pretty tasty. Been here twice already and will be back for more.

Excellent patio scene. Shisha and beer pitchers were on point. We were able to play card games and chill. Great staff (Kim) was checking on our group regularly. Dj's in the patio were taking our song requests and were nice enough to turn the music down in the patio. Inside can have a little bit more of a club feel but the patio with the fireplace was gold. Great job to my buddy on this chill spot find.

Came here on a Friday night since all other bars in this area were super full. To our surprise this place was empty, and I mean maybe 3 other people were in there. NOW I know why. SERVICE WAS AWFUL. There were 2 servers and the only thing these girls did was chill at the bar talk on their cell phones and take shots/sip drinks. I wouldn’t care if they at least took our order and then did their thing, but it took her 45 min to get our order and another 30 to bring our food. Don’t recommend. The interior is very nice and this place has a lot of potential but they should really take action when it comes to their service. Response: Idk about you but I don’t drink tea or water from a shot glass but if that’s what your servers do ...hey non of my business. Second I don’t like being a loud customer who causes a scene. It was 30 min and we did wave to the girl after that which barely caught her attention. So instead of teaching me how to act when things like this happen, maybe teach your employees customer service. stop accusing me, there’s a reason why your restaurant is empty unfortunately. Don’t feel offended but just take note and better your business. Nothing personal :)

This place is so confused. My husband saw it and wanted to try. He loves Hakka Food. It was pretty awful. We got the tandoori chicken ( it’s not Hakka, but given the poor Hakka choices - we decide try the Tandoori burger and Fajitas. It was pretty tasteless. The drinks were watered down. There were very few pieces of chicken. L My hubs commented that the tandoori chili chicken burger was actually a frozen chicken patty from Costco. Never again. Don’t waste your time.

Food flavour was amazing! Friendly staff. Bold room colours for some with our group, but the screens, food and service won everyone over. After 9 and drink specials are amazing. Strong drinks!! Will return for a third time! (and beyond).

First visit last week. We found the food good and the waitress pleasant. However I ordered a white wine spritzer that cost me $15.50. I'm not a wine drinker so I always order the cheapest house wine and have it mixed with 7UP. I have never paid that much for a spritzer in my life. My friend had a 9 oz glass of white wine and it was only $9.50. I spoke to the waitress and nothing was done. I will not be going back.

The experience dining at Slumdog with a party of 8 to watch UFC was promising at first but things quickly turned into a night of slow service and mishaps. We called earlier in the week to make reservations for Saturday night at 9PM. Upon arrival our table was ready and the establishment looked clean and modern. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a waiter to approach our table and upon placing our drink orders (draught beer) we waited another 15 minutes for it to be served. We waited about 20 minutes after being served our drinks to order appetizers (2 orders of nachos) which arrived about 40 minutes after ordering. We then waited another 30 minutes to place our entree orders which arrived sporadically over the course of an additional 60 minutes. One party member did not even receive his double order of wings so he cancelled it. It turned out the order never went through despite the waiter writing it down on a note pad. The food was ok at best (typical chain restaurant fare) and many times other wait staff came to our table with entrees that weren't even ours. Once we asked for the bill it took another 15 minutes to get our bills which were incorrect. The staff managed to split the cost of the entrees between the 8 of us instead of the nachos and drinks like we requested. After that confusion we were asked by the waiter to repeat what we ordered over the course of our visit so they could create the correct bills, never seen anything quite like that. Overall despite being nice and modern looking this establishment leaves a lot to be desired. Service was slow, many orders meant for other tables arrived at ours and billing was done incorrectly. This place has been opened for 4 months, plenty of time to work out any kinks. I'm hoping they solve their glaringly obvious issues otherwise they won't last awfully long in today's service industry.

Please do not put yourself through dining hell, and avoid this place at all costs! I know, slightly dramatic, but this was truly the worst dining experience I have ever had. I was attending a birthday party, in their party room and upon walking in was pleased with the decor. Unfortunately the decor is the only good thing about this place. I should have realized that before sitting down as it was a Saturday night, there was a dj playing- way too loud, may I add- and the place was dead. Which brings me to the service. If the restaurant is slow, with two servers and only one table of 12, theres no reason why it should take 45 minutes to receive our first drinks. FORTY-FIVE MINUTES! On top of that, even though everything was written down, drinks were forgotten, wrong drinks were made and drinks that were never ordered, or brought to the table appeared on people's bills. The meal as a whole, between drinks, entrees and cake took three hours. We were all ready to go home before the cake was brought out-an hour after it was asked for, in case you were wondering. The food was mediocre at best, considering a $16 salad had kraft salad dressing on it, cold steak and wilted greens. Overall, this was just a terrible experience and I urge anyone thinking of going here to stay at home and cook instead.
