SWEET. Great ambience. Wonderful art work inside the cafe. Whosoever came up with the names of the dishes and drinks is a genius. I want to meet that person once.

Food was good. In HUGE quantity. Too chocolaty. Therefore got too sweet by the end, but the quality was delicious too.
If you have a sweet tooth, and you are never bored of chocolates, this is the place for you. Delivers variety.

Ive been here many times. there was one time this rude waiter.. but i went again yeturday and insteadof my usual delicious crepe.. i gt cake and coffee. my girlfiend and I enjoyed it with our teas and coffee... this time we got a good waiter.. he was very sweet and willin to make sure we were comfortible. great experience :)
Yummy Yummy. This place has been here for a number of years, probably 7-8 years. I live in the area and have been there many times. We make it one of our destinations of choice when we want to get away from the husbands.
The menu is fun and cute with lots of choices. If you've never been here, skip the cakes and have the ice cream instead. They do not offer anything but desserts which is a shame because they used to offer amazing omeletes and other meal items. I agree with the other person's review. When it gets busy, service does get a little slower. I guess that's expected anywhere you go.
Desserts great, service needs improvement. A huge dessert menu awaits at Demetre's...and very often huge lineups as well. This, alas, could be the reason service doesn't seem to improve - the customers often wait long waits on the weekends to get in.
My favourites here are crepes and sundaes...you really can't go wrong.
This place is definitely one of my favourite and a gem in the GTA. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive, the portions are massive and delicious and everybody I bring here is absolutely immersed in their desserts. The hot drinks are delicious and so are the cold but in my opinion definitely go for the Belgian waffle desserts you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be returning in the near future and keep up the great work.
We went in on a Wednesday night, was pretty busy but the service was fast! Kind employees, great atmosphere. The only downside was that only one of plates got whip cream, normally our other plates would too. Honestly, one of their better locations!
Demetres is a great place to visit when you are looking for something sweet! I stopped by on a Thursday night and waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes before someone even came by the table! By that time we already knew what we wanted and placed our order. The dessert we had was presented nicely and tasted great. Would come back again.
Always a great place to fill those sweet tooth cravings.
You really do get what you pay for here, service is nice, and the portions are quite big.
We enjoyed the Summertime Fatness brownie Sunday, and the Strawberry Blush Waffle with white chocolate ice cream.
