Review Pizzeria Gelato Gelato - Woodbridge

One bite everybody knows the rules! Dined in here after a lot of hype and people telling me it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had… little do they know I’m a pizza connoisseur. Ordered a few different pizzas and they were good- not amazing and didn’t blow my socks off. I live in Pickering and if I wasn’t already in Woodbridge I wouldn’t have made the drive to come eat here. The gelato was good and the inside of the restaurant is very warm and inviting. I would come back and try some other pizzas if I’m in the area though. I did appreciate the different options for gelato.

Gelato Gelato featuring wood oven pizza. That’s Italian. This restaurant was referred to us by one of our team members. This is our first time here and we are very impressed with the menu. Staff are friendly. I tried a traditional Italian pizza, the Hawaiian 😊. Recommended.

I don't normally post reviews for most things but this was ridiculous I got an order of 5x Gelato scoops, chose a couple of sorbet and pistachio/etc. For whatever reason, this location puts all of your scoops into one single container?????? By the time we got home and opened it up, they had melted and began to mix together, surprisingly there were no fans of pistachio strawberry mango tiramisu flavor. I'm actually shocked that just giving small containers( that they actually have in store!) for each scoop was too much, I've never seen something so lazily done before.

They should have the patio opened for full service and not to eat there if you do take out, especially since its summer now. Some staff need to be friendlier when you walk in because it took a while for anyone to come to the front to greet us and ask if we wanted a table. It happened twice in one week for our family.

Pizza is great. Simple and authentic. Wood fired oven. When you take a bite you definitely taste complex Smoky wood flavor from the oven. This pie is crunchy and chewy at the same time. The crust has a beautiful char on it and your characteristic Neapolitan leoparding.

One of my favourite pizza places. The dough is incredible. The toppings are up to you. Had enough to feed myself for another meal. Portions are great. Staff is wonderful and friendly.

Yesterday we went for pizza, we were satisfied, the best pizza i have eaten in 35 years of Canada! the service was excellent! The pizza makers made an excellent masterpiece; congratulations! SEE U SOON!

Mango gelato was refreshing and hit the spot after the pizza! Great crust and fresh sauce.. even better topping selections, would revisit when next in the area!
