Review Crush Pad Bistro - Wolfville

A highlight of our trip through Nova Scotia and PEI. Beautiful landscape and gardens, great service, and delicious things to sip and eat! We went home with 4 bottles and a variety of artisan goods (candles, snacks). We phoned our kids from the red phone booth in the vineyard, it was adorable. Definitely recommend stopping in, but go early - we were told it gets quite busy with tours later in the day.

We visited while staying in the area recently. Beautiful gardens and the phone booth is neat. We had the wine tastings and everything was pretty good. We had lunch and the food was delicious and the service very good.

This is an amazing winery with an attached bistro and patio. The view is unbelievable and this is a picturesque spot for the 'gram photos. The phone booth white and phone booth red and delicious and the Fizz Rosé is refreshing on a hot day. For folks looking for a dog friendly place, the pups can visit the vineyard to get pictures in front of the phone booth, but that's about it. They are not allowed in the tasting room or bistro (for obvious reasons).

Based on a local friend's recommendation, we stopped by Luckett Vineyards for wine tasting. We arrived around lunch time and decided to have lunch as well. We were seated at the tent which has a propane heater so it was good even it was only 9c today. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious and not overpriced. The phone booth on the vineyard is good for a selfie.

I am being generous because the food was greatly lacking. The mussels we got have been fresher in Ontario and this is right beside where you get them from. The service in the tasting flight was good, really loved the product he is selling. The buried wine has a great back story to it…bought 3 to enjoy at home. Oh and the gardens….wow a thing of beauty.

Arrived past lunch rush, seated at a corner table with great view. The wait to order is reasonable, food is served in decent time, delicious and big portion. However, our waitress is the worst I haven’t had for a while. Have you ever received a bill without asking and before you finish your meal? I have, at this restaurant. Maybe she is finishing her shift, but it was rude and unpleasant to me. And all of my food came at the same time, two appetizers and main course. The three stars are for the food and atmosphere, service zero.

Great experience! Food, wine, staff, view, everything impeccable. Such an amazing day. There was a waiting time of about 20 mins, even mid week. And they don’t take reservation. Better get there early to avoid the line. Our waiter Michael was such a lovely guy. Professional, quick and witty!

This was an amazing place. Highly recommend, wish we could have had more time but will be back. All around fantastic food and service. A must see place lots of wines to choose from and other goodies. The atmosphere and view are breathtaking.
