Went on recommendation. Definitely a "little hole in the wall". Definitely no atmosphere & not licensed but the food was delicious!!
Also, prices on menu appear to have gone up.
This is a new post on Pho Hoi An, a Vietnamese restaurant on Sargent Avenue. I originally wrote a review a couple of years ago. A couple of months ago I switched from WordPress hosted to self hosted. Unfortunately somewhere in that process I lost that original post. The Pho Hoi An Vietnamese Coffee after it had already been filtered.
Came here for lunch after a Vietnamese colleague recommended it. I really like Bun Bo Hue and my colleague said this place specializes in it.
Pho Hoi An is tucked into a strip mall on Sargeant, the thing with being in this area is that there are tons of other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. With no shortage of competition, you really have to be different to set yourself apart! For one, they actually have a parking lot which is nice. Also, they have a super extensive menu.
When we arrived, we were seated promptly and handed menus. My colleague and I were both set on trying the Bun Bo Hue and this is definitely one of the best I've had. Their Bun Xiao, was also very well made, though it did take an unusually long time to come out.
The restaurant is a bit small and the decor is somewhat dated. But the food is excellent! If you've never been, this place is worth a shot.
Soup is the most important part of the Viennese noodles it need to be hot and flavourful, and that what they have here love it and is my favourite place
Hidden gem. Some of the very best pho in town.
Best viet food in town!! By far and im viet
